I am starting to feel pressured into weaning DD even though I am not really ready. Yes it is annoying sometimes but overall I really enjoy that cuddly time we have together and how she says "milk peas". I just wish everyone would back off and let me do it when I am ready.
Also I have to buy new tires today. I fucking hate spending money on my car. I could be getting something pretty.

I hate Mondays.
The girls have slightly runny noses... I fear what usually comes next. Do not want colds ugh.
Tired, I woke at 4am because we were having one hell of a lightening storm- it was non stop lightening, the thunder sounded like airplanes. It was crazy weird. So sleep sucked, I want nap.
Went over our finances last night to try and start saving money. It was awful, we spend way too much between bills, trying to pay off credit cards and other expenditures. Time to make some cuts and spend wisely. Ugh.
I'm on the phone likely cancelling our cable service. They raised our rates for no reason, and are generally assholes.
I don't get how they can keep increasing rates for the same shitty service.
We unplugged a while ago. We substitute with the following:
Hardware: HD TV Antenna Tablo DVR box 2 TB external storage Roku 4
Apps: Hulu Netflix (subscription) Amazon Prime Video (free with Prime) HBO Now
Our outlay was about $600 in hardware. Internet is $70/month including our router rental. We spend about $25-$30 on apps/subscriptions/month. Beats the $175 cable bill for sure.
We are about to cancel our cable also.
+ 1 on Amazon fire tv - we installed Kodi +1 on hd antenna and apps
Leapinglizards I had to put new tires on a few weeks ago, I put it off as long as possible because I dread paying for that type of stuff. I need new breaks and an oil change soon... maybe next week.
Baby boy is head down already and so, so low. Whatever he is pushing on today is painful. My dr. suggested that I get a support belt. Initially I shrugged off the suggestion, but now I am rethinking.
DH won't cut the cable cord completely because of sports. I think we will at least scale our plan back. We don't need 450+ different channels. Only problem is they we would lose sprout and that's one that we actually like for the kids.

Do you have a woven wrap or ring sling? You can "wrap" your belly for support :-) YouTube has a ton of videos.
I don't, but I like that idea better than buying a support belt that will get thrown in a closet once the baby comes. I will look into it, thanks!

Our internet and TV are about $82/month together. If we cancel the TV portion of the service, we lose our bundling discount, so our cost actually goes up for less service. Such a racket!
We're under a special "loyalty rate" so once that expires (if they don't give the discount back to us like they did last year) then we'll cancel.
Oh! I forgot that my kid learned how to open her bedroom door from her crib over the weekend, so now bedtime includes 10 minutes of someone holding her door shut while she screams (her open door looks directly out at our couch). I think we have door knob covers somewhere, but what a PITA!

Can you reverse the locks so it locks from the outside and lock her in until she falls asleep?
TheCoffeeNinja my pp bleeding finally subsided around 10 weeks. It's so miserable I remember. I hope it lightens for you soon! Have you had very bad cramping while nursing at all?

There's no lock on the door, otherwise this would be our plan. Someone gave us a ton of babyproofing stuff as a gift, and we've used literally 2 cabinet latches out of it. I think there were door knob covers in there, I just have to dig through the garage and find them (or go to home depot)
SlingTV is another good app to subscribe to. It's live TV and comes with certain cable channels but you can add on extra packages depending on what you like - I added the one that included Disney Jr for an extra 5 bucks.

My DH is getting a new laptop for work. (They had a case settle and are looking for ways to spend a bunch of $...) He's being so indecisive. If I have to hear about the merits of the Surface Pro vs the iPad Pro vs the MacBook series one more time, I'm going to scream. Just choose something and let this FWP be over.

Sorry but LOL!!! DH can talk my ear off about technology too. I just want to be able to operate something easily. We have very different standards and priorities when it comes to devices.
DH and his BF have been trying to plan a guy's baseball trip for about 2 months. His friend quit responding to emails/texts and DH was getting mad. So I told him not to plan on it working out (his friend is a tad flakey). So we decided to plan going out of town for DDs birthday. I started planning our trip and was really excited. Today his friend calls and says he can go. They've been on the phone for the last hour laughing and planning this dumb trip. It's not in the budget to do both. He was excited for our trip too, but just like that he dropped us for his dumb trip. He hasn't even brought up not being able to do a family trip now.
Liv , DNW to keep spotting for another 4 weeks! It's barely anything but it's still going on. Yes to crams - Hellish cramps that had me in tears for the first few days then that calmed down. That was worse than the contractions, they definitely hurt more with each baby!
Ugh I'm sorry! I totally agree though... the "cramps" I had were literally worse than labor until they subsided.... like 2 weeks labor. Sucks that they get worse with each baby, too! Yikes.
So it's teacher appreciation week (which is kinda unnecessary, but whatever...) and we're getting all kinds of goodies from the PTA (Starbucks & Krispy Kreme today, Chipotle for lunch tomorrow, Jimmy John's on Thursday...) We got two different emails from the school secretary telling us to look forward to a treat from our principal in our mailboxes. Guess what it was. A bag of animal crackers. WTAF?
This pretty much sums up how she is as a principal.

This wouldnhave me so mad, I would tell him no, we already planned out trip!

lolz
Omfg. That is something my old boss would do. But they'd be extra snacks not given at lunch time to the kids!

My work friend commented that they were the same animal crackers that are in our vending machine! Maybe the principal stood there with a bunch of quarters until she bought 50-60 bags of animal crackers? Hahaha
A day late and I'm SURE I've already bitched about this, but we're spending mother's day with my in laws, again. We've been with them every mother's day that I've been a mom. I would love to be the center of attention just ONCE!!!!

You deserve to be!!! Tell DH that!
Tell your DH! Screw that. You can spend part of the day with them, or call, or pick a different day altogether to celebrate- you should be the focus at some point.
