Saw the thread on TB and came on over. Does everyone have the same screen names? I was able to keep the same one. Going to take some time to learn the format here.

I can't change my avatar to a picture until I'm not mobile. Which sucks cause I am usually mobile.

It took me forever to figure it out but go to change profile. Choose avatar. Then on bottom of
screen choose the desktop option and then you should have the screen to change it to a personalized feature.

i don't like how when you click on a thread it doesn't automatically take you to the most recent comment..

ETA: and anyone else think that the "member is online" feature is a little creepy?!

It does if you click new. AND awesomely if you post a comment it takes you back to where the conversation left off if people post while you're commenting. It's great for fast moving threads like on Parenting. 

I believe you can go into settings and make your online status private.

And my favorite feature, in the upper right corner there's a "new participated" button that will open a box with your recent threads that have new posts, which makes it easy to jump between active threads on different boards.

I'm having the same thing happen...it goes to the most recent comment in a thread instead of where I left off. Where is this new button you speak of?

Is that "new participated" button on mobile too? Cause I don't see it.

Sorry I have no clue about the apps. On iPad it's great as-is, moving to iPhone some of those features disappear. I think some of the welcome threads have tips on using the apps.

I think the little blue dot next to the name when you're looking at d14 in the app means there are new posts. Then when you tap the thread, it takes you to the new stuff.
