Not the best pic of her but this is pretty much her lately. Sullen looking and chewing on something. I'll get a better pic when I do her 6 month pic Also I wanted to show off our finished sling for swimming

Have you tried the sling yet? How do you like it? Do you feel secure with her in it?

mooncharm, we didn't try it in water yet. Since I got the call about the open house I'm going to put off the swim to Sunday. Wearing it around the house makes me feel better about it but I haven't used a ring sling since DD1 was a newborn. Almost wish I had bought the fabric long enough to make a full wrap out of it like my moby since that's what I'm used to now I think I'll get back into the groove though. It already feels better than yesterday.

I recall loving the ring sling around 9 months last time when we could do a really good hip carry. I wonder if I will feel better in a few months. Let us know!

mooncharm , ashleymarie26 made one too and she just recently used it I think. Maybe she can lend some insight? I'm thinking about making one too!
We used it this week for the first time! I'm not accustomed to slings, so it took some getting used to and I'm still not 100% on it. Ophi liked it but she prefers the canopy float so she could kick her legs and I think she liked to see our faces.

I'm tempted to make a ring sling too, but my DD much prefers facing outward. When I'm carrying her in my hip, she practically dive bombs out trying to get to things, so I'm not sure if she would dig this. I'll see how she likes swim class before. I feel like she will like her floaty as well.

When DD1 was a little older I wore her sitting in it cross legged with her back against my chest so she could face out. She friggen loved it and people passed us looked at her with wild fascination so she must have looked really cute doing it. I don't know if there is an official carry like that but it was the only way to keep her still enough in it then I switched to the Boba.

Just downloaded the app so that I could share this with you. Bonus dachshund because someone asked me for pics of my dog baby a while back and I was woefully remiss in failing to provide any.
I love seeing all these smiles and chubby cheeks!!! Squishy had thick dark hair as a newborn, but alot fell out and is coming back in a strawberry blonde color. And it appears as though he will be keeping those baby blues! Here's Linco.n L.ane at 6 months!!

Here we are in the pool! I'm not sure if I have the sling positioned the best.
Don't mind my boobs. I swear it's only the perfectly placed ray of sunshine that makes them look that good.

*poof*
Hope this cutie gets me forgiven for not being super active. Having a baby is a lot of work and I just don't get the time to internet much anymore. I'm also working hard to get projects around the house done. Aaaaand he just woke up. lots of love!
