1. How often do you BF? And/or how often do you pump if you EP?
I bf LO the entire weekend, but during the work week I feed him before we leave the house, when we get home, before bedtime, and around 2 or 3 am.
I'm going to have to refigure out pumping at work. I'm having a hard time making enough for the next days bottles and in the last 2 weeks I've run through my tiny freezer stash.
2. SAHM, working mom, or some other combination thereof? Working mom
3. For working moms, how often do you pump at work? Approximately how many ounces do you take home per day? 2 times, but about to go to 3. I was taking home 12 ozs a day, but then last week it dropped down to 8 ozs.
4. Questions for the peanut gallery? Any advice on how to get supply back up? I'm working on drinking more water and Gatorade.
This is anecdotal, but I saw a woman post that her supply was boosted when she started eating Clif bars that had oats in it.

Has your period returned yet? My supply took a crap for about two weeks before it came back. Now for a couple days before it starts I struggle a bit but not as bad as that first time.
I second this. I went from 12-15 oz a day pumping with 2 sessions to getting 8-9. Lasted about a week or so. I'm hoping it was just the first period coming back and won't be a monthly thing.
We're still nursing about 5x a day (sahm for now) in addition to 3 solid meals. Current "issue" is that I'm having to nurse her to sleep up get her to nap which never was a thing before. I think she just gets to distracted/busy playing that she doesn't want to nap. I toy with the idea of deliberately weaning at a year, mostly because I've had very few months in the last six years where my body has truly been mine. But I'll probably let her keep nursing past a year since she's my last baby... both of my older kids self-weaned by 17 months, so that's not really too much longer.

Still nursing the twins about 6x a day, about every 3-4 hours, usually tandem. They eat about 3 solid meals. Currently a SAHM, hoping to stay that way. I was planning to extended BF until they either self weaned or 2.

Still ebf. We nurse 6-8 times per day. She gets 2 meals and a snack each day. I don't eat a full lunch so I never think about it for DD. I'm a Sahm. The plan is make it to a year and reevaluate when we get there.
Eta anotherdreamer you are a BF all star! I'm so impressed you've nursed your girls for so long!

hurricanerek thanks! I am really excited about it. I had a lot of issues with my DS and switched him to formula at 3m, so I'm really thankful things have gone so much better this time!

Still BF'ing here. Usually on weekdays I nurse her 2 times before bed and then she wakes up twice to ear. I just went down to pumping once a day at work instead of twice. When she's a year I'm hoping I can go down to not pumping and just BF'ing her at night and if she wakes up in MOTN. I don't nurse her in the mornings except on weekends and if I take her to daycare, which is 1-2 times a week, so I'm nervous about that tanking my supply. I'm wondering if I'll have to wake her up to nurse when I leave for work or not. I know she isn't going to want to wean at all but I don't want to keep pumping at work.
Still breastfeeding here, 5-6 times a day, including a night time feeding or two. SAHM. I no longer pump, I always hated it. Now I just mix whole milk in to foods that need milk (his oatmeal mostly). We'll keep breastfeeding until at least 12 months and play it by ear after that.
Still nursing 5-6 times a day. I feed off one side in the morning and pump the other side. He gets a bottle before bed. I found if I nurse him before bed he falls asleep too quickly and will not sleep through the night. Before I go to bed I pump and get around 6 oz. I'll stop pumping around a year and just go with the flow.

We are nursing 4-5 times per day. DD also eats 3 meals of solids per day. I stay at home so no pumping for me. Our goal is to make it to one year then just kind of see what happens. I think I will probably continue past one year as long as DD wants to.

1. How often do you BF? And/or how often do you pump if you EP? On the weekends, DD nurses 5-6x a day, with a MOTN feeding most nights. She nurses every 2-3 hours (with a breakfast/lunch/dinner mixed in). 2. SAHM, working mom, or some other combination thereof? Working. 3. For working moms, how often do you pump at work? Approximately how many ounces do you take home per day? I pump 3x at work and depending on the timing of DDs MOTN feeding/lack there of, I take home anywhere from 12-20. If DD doesn't wake for a MOTN feeding and I head to work before she wakes up, my first pump yields a lot of milk. DD normally has 3 6oz bottles at daycare, so I hope to pump that everyday. 4. Questions for the peanut gallery? Nope
We nurse 6-7 times a day still. (On work days, Usually 3 bottles + 3 nursing sessions) I pump 4x to get enough milk for 3 bottles (once before she wakes up in the morning and then 3+times at work depending on work stuff. I'm pretty over pumping, but when I think about the alternatives, I stick with it (only 2 more months!)
I'm still breastfeeding 6+ times a day when I'm home and pumping 2-3 times a day when I'm working. I keep alternating between wanting to be done now (when DS bites or gets really wiggly) and thinking about continuing to nurse indefinitely (when he sweetly falls asleep all snuggled up on me).

Anyone tried weaning away from pumping at work?
I don't pump at work anymore, however I do go to her at lunch and nurse, so we only have to make up one bottle with formula. She's been getting more fussy with the lunchtime nursing, though, so we may be almost done with that and only nurse morning and night.
Weekdays: BF at 4:00 and 5:30 so both sides are empty. Pump at 9:30 and 1:30, BF at 5:00 and to sleep at 7ish. Weekends: on demand... around every 3-4 hours. 3 meals of ~4oz of solid food and puffs/pick-ups/snacks
I usually bring home about 8 or 9 oz of milk between those 2 pumping sessions, but I'm going to cut back to one session soon... or so I keep telling myself. I liken my pump to a ball and chain. He drinks about 12 oz at DC, so my freezer supply is dwindling anyway, but we're sooo close to 1 year.... AHH!

Still bf'ing and pumping here.
I work full time and just bumped down to pumping twice a day instead of 3 times. I started that last week and I still tend to get around the same amount as if I was pumping 3 times a day. We'll see how long that lasts. I usually have to supplement a little by topping off one bottle with a couple ounces of formula.
During the work week, I nurse twice (morning and before bed) and usually once or twice MOTN.
On the weekends I usually nurse her around 6 times plus once or twice MOTN.
I plan to drop to one pump session at 11 months and be totally off the pump at 12 months.
Once I'm completely weaned from the pump, I plan to nurse morning and night for as long as DD wants. (Secretly hoping it doesn't go on for too, too long)
Also, DD gets 3 meals a day of solid food and a snack in the afternoon (puffs, melts, etc). For her dinner time meal, she also gets a little bit of whatever we're eating and/or some puffs.
Yes. Mine is (sorry). She basically eats from when I pick her up to bed time with a short break for a walk and or play, though. She's always tanked up like that before bed, and it's worked pretty well. She sometimes struggles to go to bed, and wakes up MOTN here and there.

Mine still wakes up 2-3 times, so I'm glad I'm not alone. I'm wondering how much longer she will keep this up. I feel like she's never going to wean herself bc she screams for DH when she wakes in the MOTN, and won't calm down until I wake up and give her the boob.
Amelia used to. Literally every night from birth to 5 months. Then it was like a switch was flipped and she's STTN maybe five times since then. Soooo backwards!
DS will sometimes STTN (I call it that if he makes it to the 5 oclock hour). I am usually feeding him at least once, though. I am still nursing him to sleep, so, yeah.... probably going to be kicking myself pretty soon...
