I fucking hate this app (sorry, it just deleted my post).
With DD1 I lowered her crib and put a felt protector along the top rail so she couldn't use it as a grabbing spot and played mean mommy if she got up and let her cry for a bit. She didn't last long before she would figure it out.
We are going on week 3 or 4 of this and it isn't getting any better. If he does it when we first put him down for the night I will keep putting him down until he goes to sleep, but MOTN I don't have the patience anymore and either give him a quick nurse, or just leave him to cry and put himself back to sleep (this can take 30-60 mins).

I'm dreading for when Layla figures out she can stand in her crib. With how unstable she is I'm so afraid of her falling and hitting her head so I feel like I'll swoop in as soon as I know she's up.

I know this is going to happen to us soon. Jacob figured out how to stand in the pack-n-play last week. I have no advice, but I do recall reading that this is part of the 8 month sleep regression.
DD is working on pushing her arms to her pits in an attempt to flip out of it, standing, stomping back and forth while screaming. Or while happy like a little dance. I have a video of it but she's naked so can't post it.
DD2 doesn't do this yet, but with DD1 we just lowered her crib and added a crib rail cover. Eventually we removed that because I didn't like how it looked (lol) and that was it...not much you can really do, as it's just another thing kids do.
Standing in a sleep sack!? He's talented! No advice, just came here to share my wine with you. :: passes bottle::
Oh yeah, and it's a freaking heavy sleepsack. Seems like giant baby doesn't give a shit.
FYI they eventually learn to walk in them. They can't be stopped. (I would have stopped using a sleep sack after walking but my child is baffled by the concept of a blanket so he used a sleep sack until 2.5 because paranoid mommy was always worried he would be cold at night.)
I have no advice, sorry, Jack was not difficult about bedtime stuff and Colin is not even close to standing on his own.

I just told myself to trust that C would figure it out. The minute I set him in his crib he pulls to stand and then lets out the most pathetic cry with big tears. It's heartbreaking but I've watched him on the monitor and he will sit and then lay down and put himself to sleep. Sometimes while he's trying to fall asleep he briefly stands back up, and then goes back to his tummy. It's just one of those things. I know now that the more I try to intervene the worse it will get.
Also, I figured the travel crib would stop him because the mesh sides are pretty flexible, I thought there was no way he could get to standing on those. I was wrong.

Unfortunately, Arthur hadn't mastered the art of getting down yet. Sigh!
We are traveling this weekend, but we'll definitely put the crib on the lower setting as soon as possible.
I hate to burst the bubble but don't be surprised if lowering the crib only works for a short time. Doing that only slowed C down temporarily and she learned now to stand more quickly.

Then my only advice is to offer him plenty of chances to practice pulling to stand and getting down. The only way to fix it is for him to learn to get down.
C's favorite was an upside down laundry basket, I'd place pillows around to he could climb/fall do whatever without totally getting hurt. It's been 2-3 weeks and he's a master at getting down now.

Callie does this and knows how to get down too but it has been going on for weeks. I'm following this to see if any solutions have worked. I will lay her down and she will fall back asleep eventually (30-45 minutes) but eventually she will wake up and stand back up in her sleep sack.

... and he just got down by himself during his nap.
