AT one point we did have a list (and i'm sure we still have it) but we've found it's easier to just let people write what they want.

I have no experience with an emergency CS, so go for it! I had a very large breech baby, so our plan changed in advance.

I would like to write some content for the site. I'm a pediatric dentist and could write about what moms can do during pregnancy to improve their oral health, tongue and lip-tie releases soon after birth to help with feeding, what to expect at the first dental visit, ways to manhandle your toddler to brush their teeth, etc.

I had a planned CS due to DD being breech and one thing that really helped me was that I had a consultation with a nurse through my work that I spoke to in the weeks leading up to it and she gave a rundown of what I might expect. Knowing what the cold and sterile room would be like, that my DH wouldn't be in the room until after the spinal, that many women experience nausea or pain in the shoulder, etc all helped me remain calm while under the knife. Many of those things the OB was frankly just too rushed in my late OB appts to explain in detail. I never found any articles that really laid it all out like she did and think it was helpful. If that sort of tangent article would be helpful I could dig up my notes from the nurse and wrote something up.

YES! (are you noticing a theme. we don't say no).

I wrote a 2 page word vomit after my loss that we are going to edit and make usable.

Sounds almost like it could be survey-ish... and in the end you get your birthplan all written out based on the selections you chose on each page? However you do it, I think a lot of people would find it useful!

Thanks! I saw it but wasn't sure that was the post you meant that has tons of great advice. NariaDreaming I think it would make a really nice article on laparoscopic surgery for the website

It's also completely different from what I was thinking of writing, so I'll see if I can find the time to write up something.

NariaDreaming, Do you have any content on pregnancy depression? I'm not a doctor, or medical in any way, but I have had pregnancy depression with 2 out of 4 pregnancies. My first pregnancy was basically hell on earth that could have been resolved so readily if anyone had said, "Hey, this isn't normal."

I'd be happy to help too! I'm an optometrist and could write about eye changes during pregnancy, infant eye exams, etc. I'm starting maternity leave June 1st, should have a couple of weeks between finishing work and my baby coming to get some things together.
