Toddler Shows/Events

Has anybody taken their toddlers to the Circus/Disney on Ice kind of events? What about an amusement park? How did they do?

A few months ago when Frozen on Ice was in town I really wanted to take DD, but party pooper DH thought she was too young. I think she would have had a great time.

I thought about bringing her to the circus when it came to town but we decided not to, afterwards I regretted not bringing her. We did bring her to Sesame Street Let's Dance a week and a half ago and she loved it. There were points where she got super antsy and started not paying attention but so did a lot of the other kids (mainly toddlers there) so everyone was good about the crazy toddlers as it was expected. The thing that was really annoying were all the suvieners/food they were selling because of course ahe wanted it all (light up toys, stuffed toys, balloons, cotton candy etc) and we're not the kind of people to buy all that crap when you can get the same toy at Target for $10 less. The thing that helped us is we bought her a popcorn at the beginning of the show and then I also packed a few "special" treats for her (box of animal cookies, fruit snacks) which kept her busy while she watched the show. Overall for a 2 year old she did really well.

We took G to Cedar Point last week, and she loved it. I would think a Disney on Ice would be a hit!

We are planning to go see Peppa pig in September. I'm not sure how she will do with it, but she loves that damn show so we will try haha

We took DDto frozen on ice last year - she loved it! We did get up and walk around once during the first act and once during the second but she did really well considering she wasn't even 2 yet.

I took her to see Peppa earlier this year. She did OK. I was pregnant and probably shouldn't have taken her alone. She had a bit of a temper tantrum and didn't want to sit for most of the first half but she did much better during the second. She would probably do much better if we went now since she LOVES Peppa pig.

We did Disney back in October and she did really well. I was surprised she did well in some of the longer ride lines but no melt downs. We did chef Mickey breakfast which she wasn't interested in and not worth the money but she LOVED breakfast inside Cinderllas Castle with all the princesses coming around.
