London, we have similar tastes, it seems. Pride and prejudice is my top 3 book of all time. Also loved Middlesex, Anna karenina and bossypants.
I pretty much love strong female characters. Do you like historical fiction? the Other Boylen Girl is a favorite.
I also like Mindy Kaling. Chelsea Handler's books are hysterical.
Girl on a train Tess of d'uberville Wuthering heights is my all time favorite book
All of Jane Austen and the bronte sisters.
Do you read Philippa Gregory's other books? I haven't read any of the most recently published but I read a ton a few years ago. The Queens Fool was my favorite.
I tend to find an author I like and then read everything they've written one right after another. I'm reading Phillapa Gregory's Cousins War series right now. My favorite genre at the moment is historical fiction. Anne Rice is probably my favorite author. The Witching Hour and Interview With the Vampire being my absolute favorites that I've read over and over since I was a teenager. Lisa Scottoline writes legal thrillers. I enjoyed Come Home the most. Tess Gerritsen writes medical thrillers. She wrote the series that the TV show Rizzoli and Isles is based on, but I like her stand alone books the best. I like Barbara Freethy for cheesy romance and Christopher Moore for something lighthearted and humorous, Lamb the Gospel According to Biff Christ's Childhood Pal, being the best one.

I'm also a huge Johm Grisham fan despite hating everything he's written in recent years. I'll continue to read every one of his books as long as he keeps writing. Pelican Bried was the best.
Richard North Patterson is also great is you like legal thrillers.
I've read some of Robert Galbraiths cuckoos calling series. I'm a fan even though people generally seem to dislike it. I hated JK Rowlings other post HP book but she redeemed herself as Galbraith.

The Frankenstein series by Dean Koontz is phenomenal. I don't care if you like science fiction or not, this series will win you over. It's hilarious. I cried when it was over, because it was over.
The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. Also scifi, but Jim Butcher has a hilarious writing style and amazing character development. These books are amazing.
The Storied Life of AJ Fickery by Gabrielle Zevon. This was just such a wonderful story.
