I am so sorry you had to go through that and hope you get to the bottom of it with the doctor. My friend's son had a similar episode around a year old I think. It was what the doctor described as a possible seizure caused by the baby holding his breath during a crying episode. They can hold their breath long enough to pass out. They got tests done and just monitored to see if it ever happened again, and it did not.
Oh God. That is terrifying. I hope the doctor has a good explanation and that it never happens again. I'm glad the timing worked out that you have her check-up today and hopefully won't have to wait long for answers.
Holy shit! I have no experience I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry that happened and I'm soooo glad she's ok. Also, so glad you have an appt today.
Just looking on-line and it seems like "breath holding" is a thing with babies? Have you ever ran across this?
I've seen a couple babies and toddlers actually do this until they almost pass out. Usually if you blow in their face it makes them gasp and come out of it. That's scary af though. I'm sorry you went through that last night!
