I didn't want to hijack Tuesday but I need help. We're doing family photos on the 13th. It's my consolation prize for the photographer missing DD2s birth since she decided to make such a dramatic entrance. I bought the girls cute matching outfits so they are what I'm building from. This is what I think I'll have DH wear (if he doesn't want to wear his uniform)...what color should i wear? I'm going shopping today.

The plaid in DHs shirt looks very obvious because I put tge flash on to show it IS plaid, but from far it just looks like a navy shirt because the plaid is actually very subtle. I was thinking pink to brighten it up? But is that too contrast-y if DH and I just take pics together? I'm really pale so I'm not sure if I can pull off white for pics. It took a lot of makeup on our wedding day to make me not look sickly.

For our family pictures I took the busiest shirt and build from there. DS had the busy plaid shirt, so each person wore a color that perfectly matched a color in his plaid. DH wore a light blue, I wore a creams and gold. and DD wore navy blue. It looked great.

Well that was a bust. Let's see if the west end of town proves to be any better. I hate shopping postpartum. This body is even different than my last postpartum body. Wtf.
New plan. Eat lunch with the kiddos, collect all of my remaining self esteem and go to the mall this afternoon.
ETA: pardon me being a huge AW today, I'm finally on tapatalk...it's way easier than mobile
I have no fashion sense at all, so I have no advice, but I can commiserate with you on not being able to find clothes that fit right. Hope you find something at the mall. And maybe if you can't find something that works with the outfits for your DDs, work backwards. Find something flattering for you and then coordinate everyone else around you.
