I have one bag of frozen milk left. I've been nursing for the last almost three weeks exclusively because of being off work. But still needed to supplement occasionally when I felt like she was still hungry. I'm no longer responding to the pump well at all. Even if I can feel milk left, the pump will get max 5-6 oz out a day.
Not sure if I should buy formula or not. Will talk to pedi today at the 9 month appointment. I'm leaning towards no and starting wcm. We've been supplementing about 4-5 oz of frozen BM almost every day the last few months. But it will be totally based on what the doctor says.
Well I bought formula because my doctor told me no wcm till 1. I posted about her yesterday. I think she is a bit over the top and negative. She was concerned DD only gained 1.5 lbs instead of 2 even though she is super mobile and over 90% for height.
Since I bought this formula I think I am going to stop pumping during the day and just continuing to nurse when we are together. I don't go back to work till 6-29, but I'm going to supplement the usual one bottle a day when she seems hungry. I'm relieved about no longer pumping, but sad at the same time.
