yummeecookee,my baby is 7m today too! Hope your baby feels better.
I hate Mondays so much. Seriously. Then to make it worse, my toddler gave me the worst time at drop off today. I pulled away with him screaming and crying for me in the window. Heart breaking. FML

All you pumping moms. How long are you pump breaks now? I was just able to do my morning one in 20 minutes.
ETA: Been 30 minutes up until now.
It takes about 15 minutes but I usually just pump the fullest boob first thing in the morning. I actually stopped it early this morning because E was getting into something!
I try to pump 20 minutes. with getting ready and putting pump parts back in the fridge that makes it closer to 30 minutes per break. But I can work from the pump room so I mostly do that.

PonyGirl I find that from check in to the lactation room, set up, and pump and then tear down and sign out takes around 18-22 min. Plus my walk to and from. Depends on the day.

We had an ok night. She self soothes for naps, at DC, and MOTN, but bedtime is a struggle.
I went to the eye doc today and got a new brand of contacts and they feel great. After predgnancy my old one kind of felt like glass shards in my eyes. And we switched brands and YAY! Also I got a deal on glasses and only spent 60 bucks. So in total I only spent $110 for the whole deal. (I haven't paid for the contacts yet though).

I'm going to really start watching how long it takes me this week because I don't want to start next week and say oh I need an hour worth of breaks and me only physically express milk for half that lol. I figured we were far enough along I can cut my break times down.
I'm currently sitting at the social security office (again) because they FORGOT to process my request for a new card when I changed my name. So you know, I have to do it again.

B had a decent couple of sleeps over the weekend, but of course now we're back to wake up early and lots. We have his 6 month check-up tomorrow, so I plan to talk to the doctor about it. Today is baby time and swimming lessons.

F this Monday! Ran out of creamer at home, so I waited until getting to work to drink it. I added some creamer which was apparently super old and congealed so I ruined my coffee. I tried some keurig and it's terrible. I need caffeine and will probably resort to walking to a coffee shop here soon.

Of course this morning, C was all happy and in a great mood. I had given him baby Tylenol around 5am so that had brought down his fever. While I was at the dr, they were like- oh he's perfectly healthy, nothing wrong w him at all. So I'm sure they think I'm crazy for bringing him in, but it's not like I made it up that he had a fever. I means I'm really glad he's doing great now but I was like "what about when the Tylenol wears off and he's got another 102 temp again?". They were just acting like it's fine and this stuff can last 4-5 days. Hokay.

I really wish I knew why my child hated naps so much. Currently rubbing her eyes half asleep but fighting it as hard as she can. I feel like it takes forever to get her down lately and then it's a short nap anyways.

We are in the shitty sleep camp with the rest of you. I'm hoping it is just a regression or is because he is about to crawl and will end soon. I am so, so tired. We got a letter from the pulmonologist saying that H's x-ray came back normal but he is still coughing so I have no idea what is going on now. We have a follow up on Wednesday so maybe we will figure it out then.

Hopefully he feels 100% soon, poor little guy. It's not fair that you did what you needed to make him more comfortable and so he was asymptomatic by the time you got him to the doctor. Give him a smooch and a hug on my behalf.
I had the opposite experience - I was sick around Christmas with a bad respiratory infection, and was worried my daughter was sick too because she was sneezing a little. Well, the nurse practitioner I saw got very alarmed and sent us to the ER for chest x-rays and the whole nine yards. The chest x-ray was clear of course, no pneumonia, no RSV, no nothing. I think she just got a snootful of cat hair or else I needed to be a little more diligent in my dusting. She was only 7 weeks old, so I suppose an over abundance of caution was warranted, but the doctor acted like he thought I was a total whackadoodle bringing my perfectly healthy baby into the ER.

same. for every freaking nap
Gah it's so frustrating. Today she went 30 minutes. It wouldn't be so bad if she then wasn't so crabby.

E was so whiny and nagging the whole way home. I got home, put her on the boob and a few min later my H came in and wanted to play. They played, she giggled, he left to go do something in another room, and instant return to nagging and wouldn't nurse. I'm like girl.... I don't know what to tell you. Wtf with these babies man??

So my sister came here. She wants to stay for 2 nights. She hasn't said if she and her BF broke up or if she just wanted to get some space, we'll see when the kids go to bed I guess. I feel like there will be wine tonight, so there's that.

Hugs and nothing but the best for your sister. That's rough.
