I'm off of work today - yay!! Chilling in the bed with DD right now. She wants waffles and the thought of making them is making me want to hurl. This nausea is for the birds!!
My sister got a new puppy yesterday so we will go play with him later this morning, and I hopefully won't throw up on it!
Add me to so tired/no nauseated. Baby is napping so I'm going to as well. Friend is coming to help with him later so I can edit some more, only 20 photos from finishing a wedding and I'm a few sessions ahead of regular turn around so woot!

My visit was such a waste, although I did enjoy my conversation with the nurse. I just don't understand why I have to sit there for an hour and watch her enter my written responses into the computer.
I just got back to work and the kids are watching "The Diary of Anne Frank" movie. I love ending my week on a depressing note.

So cancel our plans to go see the new puppy. DD has fever and is congested - looks like she's getting the cold I had last week and beginning of this week

Boo, I'm sorry, that stinks. Hopefully it blows by her and it is only today that she is sick.

Oh lakegirl I totally agree. My husband apologized that I am feeling so bad and I told him it was his fault. I often wonder what I was thinking when we started trying again. What have I done to my life?! Exactly.

There was a ton of food left from the 8th grade BBQ earlier this week so we are cooking out again! Tonight is "prom" so there are only a handful of kids. Teachers are all chilling in the sun, eating chips, grilling, and "supervising" the children. Today is a wonderful day!
I'm sorry for everyone dealing with sickness (their own or someone else's).
I don't have to work today (WOOHOO!!!) and while I woke up at my early time I went back to sleep a little later and slept until 10:30 and it was amazing.
I'm trying hard to find some motivation because we are hosting a cookout tomorrow evening for our small group from church. I need to clean, make cookies and make a grocery list so DH and I can go to the store tonight after we go out for dinner.
Tomorrow DH has to mow the lawn and we need to do the final prep work. This sounded like a great idea when we invited everyone but now I'm not so sure. I'm just so lazy right now I don't want to do anything.
Small group knows we are pregnant (they have been praying for us during our IF struggle so we told them immediately) so I'm sure they will all understand if we don't go all out with the fancy entertaining stuff I usually do. lol

Went to pick DS up from his last day of school, and I see him holding his teacher's hand sobbing. The poor guy doesn't want to leave kindergarten! All the feels today.
meeggaannww, Almost done with first tri! Woooo!! I hope you get some symptom relief soon.
pibblemom, If it wasn't for my u/s and if I had crazy high betas, I'd do the same thing.
geauxtigers79, Hugs for your DD. Being sick is no fun at our age, let alone when you're little.
DS is sick He's been acting off for about a week but the last couple days he's been waking up frequently during the night whining, won't eat things unless they're cold or sweet, complains his mouth hurts and that non-spicy food is spicy, had been running a fever off and on, and today told my mom his ears really hurt. Off to the doctor we go in a few hours. Sigh. At least I get off work early because of it.
We ordered pizza at work today and I want it SO BAD. I put it on my card and ordered myself a gourmet pizza and slice of caramel apple cheesecake because why not.
ahhh pedicures...love them! I went to a baby shower held at a nail place it had a rubber duck theme, it was awesome! note to self...
hey moms, stroller question, four wheels or the jogger style with two in the back and oneish in the front?
I have three strollers and have used them all. The first is just a base that you can click the infant car seat into, the second is a bob running stroller and the third is a basic umbrella stroller we got when dd grew out of the infant stroller. Do you run? That's the only reason I'd get a jogger. For basic transportation you'll want a small four wheel one because the joggers are really bulky.

Agreed. That said, umbrella strollers are for slightly older kids so you won't be using one for awhile.
We did more wearing than using the stroller, but we really appreciated have a regular stroller when we were doing things like going to the zoo because we could click in the car seat if DS was still asleep.
Note: Jogging strollers are not intended for babies less than 6 months of age if you're going to actually use it for jogging purposes because of young babies' lack of neck control. You can still use them, of course, lots of companies just suggest waiting until 6 months to start running with them.
