I felt terrible when we got home yesterday so Cal and I went to bed at 4pm, which wasn't bad considering that's only 3 hours from his 'real' bedtime. We were up from up 8:30-10 and then back to bed until he woke for the day at 2:45. H is sleeping because he stayed up doing homework, I'm packing and hanging with C. Probably a nap in our near future and then on to Tahoe. The fun never stops.
You know, if your idea of fun is 10 hours on a plane and then 8 hours in a car with an 8 month old...after an 8 hour time change.
Both open houses went well this weekend. We'll know at 4pm today whether we got any offers...I'm so anxious! I don't know why I thought I didn't need to take today and tomorrow off work...the moving truck comes Wednesday morning and there is SO much to pack. I think I'm going to have to call my boss and tell him I need half day today and all day tomorrow. I am so stressed about getting it all done! Also... I didn't think getting a hotel room would be a big deal, so I waited. And now there is not a single room under $600 within shuttle ride of the airport... :/. I'm seriously debating buying cheap pillows and sleeping bags and just sleeping on the floor Wed night...
Day 1 of potty training the toddler . Send coffee, alcohol , chocolate whatever ! I'm sooo not looking forward to this !
We had a pretty good weekend . DH surprised us with a day off Friday , so we went to the lake beach and spent the rest of the weekend at my parents pool .
I can't stop reading / watching news about this shooting in Orlando . It absolutely breaks my heart , there's seriously so much hate in our world . I'm so terrified for our kids future !
I have an annual physical with my family doctor today. I don't think I've had a physical in at least 15 years. I just treated my annual gynecologist appt as a check up for years. What does one do at a physical? Glen goes faithfully every year and nagged me into it.

Could you do la cheaper room and taxi ride to the airport? That is crazy!!
Look like baby has ended his streak of late waking. Oh well
He's 9 months today. 9 months. When did this happen?? Crazy to think that a couple short months ago, he was this tiny newborn and now he's this giant, noisy, standing up, raspberry blower. He starts daycare in one month!!!! And I go back to work in 2!

Yes, we could definitely do that, and we might. I am just irrationally stressed about trying to install two car seats into a taxi. I'm going to research to see if I can find a taxi that already has car seats. I know it sounds stupid but my stress level is maxed out right now and the thought of doing that while on the way to the airport with both kids and all our stuff just seems like I'm asking for a mental breakdown, lol. The combination of mental stress around finishing packing and emotional stress around leaving this house is really putting me over the edge a little. I can't stop thinking about bringing my two babies home to this house and that soon it will no longer be our home

Many hugs. It's definitely a huge step!! But they will make so many great memories in the next house
Has anyone here done a cleanse while nursing? I have an It Works! Cleanse I want to try but I'm not 100% sure I should while breastfeeding. I know the wraps are a no go

I don't know how an cleanse would impact BF or your baby, but it might leave you feeling gross and weak. You might not be giving yourself the fuel or calories you need to sustain yourself and breastfeeding.
swbrigadoon moving is so stressful. Hopefully you can figure it all out and everything will go smoothly. Did you call any hotels? Sometimes the online listing will all be full but if you call in person they might still have some openings.
britbratjf typically those cleanses don't have enough calories to support BFing. I looked at doing on with DS but realized 600 calories wouldn't cut it. If it's just fiber drink or something like that it might be okay. Do you know a consultant? Usually the y know that.
Hannah was up several times in the night after going to bed easily. I'm blaming teething. She seemed to rest better after some Motrin. I however, did not. She slightly redeemed herself by sleeping until 8. I'm preparing to go for a run this morning for the the first time in a long time. If you don't hear from me, I didn't survive. Otherwise low key day here of house work and a few errands.

I should clarify that you are supposed to continue to eat (healthy food) while doing the cleanse & every one I know that's done it says it's pretty gentle (i.e. You aren't running to the bathroom all the time). It's all natural ingredients but I know that doesn't always matter when BFing.

What is it then? I must admit that I'm very skeptical of any "cleanse" as our bodies are designed to cleanse themselves without any help.
swbrigadoon, good luck on offers, and yuck to hotel situation! Is it possible to rent a car instead of doing the taxi, so you can take your time with the car seat install?
I'm exhausted. You'd think not getting home from a biz trip until 5 a.m. on Saturday would mean I would be granted time to catch up on sleep, but this is apparently not the case. I have a feeling if H had a similar experience, he would demand that I take on full baby responsibilities for at least Saturday. So I'm tired and grouchy. Best thing, however, was how happy she was to see me after Saturday morning nap. Baby squeals and hugs are the best!
On the bright side, Anna and I have discovered a fun game that sends her into hysterics. She'll be at the top of the stairs behind the gate, and I'll be "sleeping" below on the stairs, then suddenly pop up to all fours and go pounding up the stairs toward her. She thinks this is the best thing ever. Then she turned it around and would go into the bedroom around the corner, wait a moment, and then come galloping back out cackling madly, so then I act all surprised. Rinse, repeat. We both have rug burns from this. She's also playing peek-a-boo now behind doors.

I've missed so much this past week lol. I was taking a staycation and waking up this morning SUCKED. We had a fantastic week though and it was a much needed break from work.
Callie actually I think is back to sleeping in her crib. She still wakes up a couple times but it has been an amazing change. We spent a lot of time with my local mom group this week so she could get some socialization and DH restained our fence. It was such a great week!
Now I need to go read all the threads to get updated!!

Fun night here too. I have a cold, so snotty mess and no NyQuil. Went to bed at 10:30, and spent the next 2 hours trying to go to sleep but being interrupted by snoring H, crying DD, and peeing 4 times. DD was up at 2:45, 5:15, and 6 which is when I brought her to bed with me.
Now I get to spend the day finding a moving company and seeing if I can get our preapproval bumped up 10K.

ugotstarbucked, hope you feel better soon, summer colds are the worst
I'm happy it's Monday because Henry is teething like crazy and, although I love holding him, having a cranky baby ON you all day for 3 days in a row gets tiring. Now I'm at work and MIL is at home with him and since she only sees him once a week I know she won't mind holding him at all. The 4 (almost 5) year old is at his first of many summer day camps today.
Me (37) + DH (39) BFP #1: DS born July 2011 BFPs #2,3,4,5: Four losses from Nov 2013-Nov 2014. Yeah, that sucked. BFP #6: 1/5/15 - Rainbow baby boy born 9/16/15
I'm having a really hard time focusing at work today. I just want to be some place queer with my queer community. I'm grateful that I work with a number of queer people and in a very queer-friendly office. But still.
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
I'm just waiting for our home inspection report to come in. I can't wait to see the ridiculous laundry list of nit-picky things the inspector came up with. Hopefully the buyers don't request that we do anything ridiculous because, guess what, it's not happening. They're getting a house with a brand new roof, kitchen, appliances, and a home warranty on everything else... hopefully they realize that.
Next hurdle is the appraisal. After that, we'll focus on packing and finding an apartment. The estimated closing date is July 15th, so that gives us absolutely not enough time. Why did we think this was a good idea?
Kinda bummed H had to work today. We tag teamed all our pool related chores I feel we barely saw each other. I did feel good to accomplish so much though.
So I called the town hall to make my appointment to fix DS birth certificate, and this lady is so much nicer! She offered to do all the paperwork so I just need to come in & sign. She told me she would just pull a copy of my birth certificate so no need to bring mine or pay for an extra copy. Also she told me to contact the hospital since it was their error & they should be able to reimburse the 30.00 charge to fix it. So needless to say I have been on the phone a lot this morning. Thank goodness Val took a 2hr nap.
txshep since you got an offer so quickly why do you have to do anything? I would be like "No, we'll gladly get someone else in a day or two". F that.
Home with both kids for the next two weeks. Today is gorgeous out. We went to the playground for like two hours. There's sort of a path around it. It's 300 steps to go around the square. So I did 10 laps with the stroller while the big played with some other kid he met his age. Weirdly though my Fitbit said I did 2100 steps. I don't think it is very accurate since I counted the steps the first time around. Then we did some small errands and I have to go to the dentist at 1:30 to get a cap cemented back in that fell out on Saturday.
OMG. I'm trying to poop in an empty restroom with twelve empty stalls and someone just came in to the stall right next to mine. WHY?!?! There are literally 11 other stalls to choose from that are not next to me.
