What are you doing for Fathers Day?

Hey, what are you all doing for Fathers Day? (apologies if we already had a thread- I couldn't find it if we did!)

We'll be at my parents' in Minnesota, but I'm planning to take him out for brunch that morning and give him a dad mug and a football....maybe something else if I can think of something!

We aren't doing anything special. He got a new mower last week so that was his gift. I just plan on not asking him to do anything around the house and try and relax since we've been so busy.

Father's Day is DD's birthday so he's getting a gift and that's it. As he says, "it's not his day anymore."

We will be up north with the whole family on vacation

Probably a cookout with my parents and brother. I got DH some new clothes bc he needed them and DS1 made him something in school but that's about it.

We will be at the beach. I wasnt really planning on doing that much because our budget is tight. Maybe just a yummy breakfast and some family time since we will have all 4 kids.

My BIL and FIL will both be in town. We are going to be doing stuff all weekend, but we will probably go out for breakfast Sunday morning.

We're going to be visiting family out of state, so probably visiting a lot of people. We have plans to eat all the food back "home" though (Tim Hortons, we are coming for you!!!!) And he's pretty excited about that lmao.

We lived in central Ohio, and there was a Timmy's everywhere you went it seemed (heck... I worked in one for 2 years lol). There's not a single one in our new state... it made us sad. I miss my Tim Bits and Ice Capps.

I'm ordering KC BBQ for DH through the mail for dinner Sat night. He works Sunday, so we're "celebrating" on Saturday.

They closed all the Tim's in my area without warning. I was devastated.

We now have Tims everywhere now and I still have yet to go. I also just stopped at Dunkin last week for the first time since moving here. I think I may be defective or something.

Noooo I feel your pain.

I'd have to drive 45-60 minutes and cross state lines to get to one now... one of our biggest cons about relocating.

Cdnfroggy Blink 182 is our (H and my) favorite. We've seen them more than once, and it's been spectacular every time. I'll be interested to see how it is with no Tom (more, or less, fart jokes)...

H just bought himself some new tools so I told him that's his Father's Day present. Which he's fine with. I'll have DS make a card and we will probably be going to a car show near us on Sunday. I will invite my dad but I'm sure he won't come because he's two hours away!

I have to work 7a-3 and cannot believe we didn't realize it was Father's Day when I put in my schedule. I feel so bad about it. We will grill out when I get home from work.
