estakis not in my house. Ain't nobody got time for that. I remember when We had attempted potty training and I just couldn't help but think diapers were easier then stopping everywhere for false alarms and stripping sheets constantly.
This just came up in my FB feed. Wut. Is PT this young a thing?!
Apparently in Vietnam it's normal by 9 months? So ... maybe?
mowkey - That's awesome!! H is considering paying off my student loans and I can "pay" him back, I.e., I'd keep making a monthly payment but it'd go to mortgage or car or savings. I want that, but I also need to get aggressive with my retirement, so I'm torn on where to send my money. Daycare, car, and medical bills have sucked up my discretionary dollars.
FX we get decent sleep. A cut her first tooth! She didn't nap all day but DC said she got super happy after it came through. She's been flailing all over the crib as usual, so not a lot of hope.
We are in the 9 month sleep regression and it's exhausting. For a couple weeks now we have been feeding her to sleep (our own regression) to keep her from crawling and playing and standing in her crib for hours. But last night she decided she was going to wake up on the transfer and refuse to go to sleep. It took 2 hours tonight to get her to sleep! I tried to breastfeed her to sleep for about 40 min. (I got her to sleep and failed the transfer and then kept trying again.) Then she refused to feed anymore so we tried rocking. No luck. Then we put her in her crib. She just kept standing up and trying to get our attention. We kept lying her back down and patting she back. And so on and so forth. She'd been up since 2 so she was exhausted. But she wouldn't go to sleep. Finally we got her to stay lying down. And finally she went to sleep!! We are supposed to go to a movie tomorrow night after she goes to sleep for our anniversary but at this rate that might not happen.
Does she wear a sleep sack? Freya tries to crawl around/stand up but can't do it well because of her sleep sack.
Yes she does. It slowed her down at first but now it doesn't phase her.
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.

Same here for giant baby. Honestly, we now let him do his thing. Some night he will stand, crawl, play in his bed for 45 minutes while other nights he goes directly to sleep

My baby got his first tooth today. And the second is pushing through - like maybe he'll have it tomorrow. ::sniff, sniff::
We have friends in tow and I love them but them and their 2 kids make the biggest messes. Also - we eat shitty and don't work out when they're around. I'm happy they're visiting and happy they're only here for 2 days.

mowkey, Congratulations! That is so awesome! You should be so proud! Our goal is to be debt free by the end of this year (not including our mortgage). We are still paying off my student loans and now that we are already half way through the year we might go into next year but still the end is in sight!
