Girlfriend eats 20oz like 75% of the time. I pump between 17-20. :/
Omg! Most I've ever pumped was 6 and that was once. I average between 3 to 4oz. What do you even pump into?!
I use the 5oz Medela bottles.. they hold 7.5 filled to the tippy top. I use one Medela per side in the morning, lol. I pump one side at a time. After that first pump I usually hit 5oz. Sometimes the last one is 4, depends how much water I had. Also,my first can be as low as 5 if we were up a lot the night before and I didn't sleep well. So.. it's a gamble for sure!
Edit: I think we're at the point though or shortly approaching where I can just send more solids to make up if she doesn't have enough milk. Yay!

Yep medela bottles can hold just over 7 oz. I have pumped 6 directly for my am pump into one before from rightie, but when I combine at work, I will go up to 7. My morning pump is the only one I usually get over 6 oz total.

Same. It helps because it makes up up to half what I end up needing !

On Wednesday, my morning pump covered all of my bottles because baby wasn't interested in eating before daycare.
Nursing is going well here. The distraction is getting really tough though. I have a 2 year old and I can't just leave him alone to go nurse her so I feel like she's not getting as much as she was and probably needs. Thats why I dont mind getting up in the night right now.

We've started but only once a day and it's not everyday and she's not that interested. Doctor said not to worry until 9 months.
The reason I asked is bc L's poop has been weird. He only goes once every 3 days and then it's this sticky brown stuff that doesn't have the fat droplets or "seeds" you would normally see.

The "seeds" are more like curds, as in: undigested milk. Poop can be normal without them. Perhaps his digestive system has matured and has become more efficient?

This happened to us too. At almost 7 months we still are exclusively breast milk except for maybe the 2 or 3 times I've tried giving him food. Around 4 months his poop change from the yellow seedy, to more dark and thicker. Nothing changed in his diet, I think his metabolism just changed. He also went from pooping a couple times a week to only once every 12 days or so. Pedi assured us that was normal.

Once every 12 days!! That makes my stomach hurt just thinking about it! Glad to hear his pedi is ok with it and your son doesn't seem consipated.

For those of you who have had your period, dos you notice a drop in BM after that? Was it just during your period or did it start to taper permanently?

I know right!? He seems to be back to a little bit more normal poop schedule now but he still goes days in between. It was nice only changing poop diapers every other week! But now he's not as much of a time bomb lol!

My supply usually drops the first full period day then returns to normal in the next day or two.

Your supply does drop during your period it it should come back up once it's over.

L is definitely a time bomb. I have started putting cloth covers over his disposables (when I decide to use them) to contain the poopsplosion. One day it was up to his nipples and up his back. It was so gross! I was about to leave the house. I was so glad I hadn't already put him in his car seat.

Luckily we haven't had any blowouts, his cloth diapers have kept everything contained so far! But sometimes it's a close call!
Rants/Raves: Things are going well. Still feeding her primarily boob with 2 meals of solids a day where she's been fed BM first. Her first tooth is finally making an appearance so I'm not excited about that since she still loves to "bite" or clamp down and pull away for fun. "Gymnurstics" are strong with this one.
Goals: Still want to get to 9 months first, but 1 year and beyond is ultimately my goal. Since getting my BFP I've been wondering about the possibilities of tandem nursing. I don't remember it talked about much on here or any mom's who did it but if anybody has experience on nursing while pregnant and/or tandem nursing I'd love to hear about it.
Things are going well. We are doing solids twice a day and he loves them! The plan is still to let him self-wean, but I notice he is totally different than my DD. He is much more active while nursing and is also very efficient. Nursing is the only way to get him to sleep and that's been challenging, but I am okay with it for now b/c it works for us.
littleredfish , I tandem nursed and nursed during this pregnancy. I will say that the first trimester was the most difficult due to pain, probably from hormone changes, but my DD was a toddler, so was probably only getting very little to begin with and we were primarily only nursing once at bedtime. There is a book called "Adventures in Tandem Nursing" that I hear is helpful? My go to is www.kellymom.com for everything nursing related. I do know that a lot of moms report their supply dwindling too. I hope everything stays good for you and you are able to nurse for them time you want without issues. Please feel free to reach out anytime if you have any questions.
