My OB gave me Diclegis for my nausea/vomiting. It says to take 2 on an empty stomach before bed. I took it on an empty stomach but then 30-40 minutes later got hungry and ate. Will that screw up the medicine? Anyone taken this med before?

A little late sandj918 - you might need to play with it. There are shades of gray, like if you need to eat a little something after you take it to curb your nausea and/or hunger, then obviously do that. But if you find that you do have a snack and then you spend the whole next morning yakking, that may mean that it's lost some of its effectiveness because you ate, KWIM?

FWIW I was never told to take it on an empty stomach. I usually did, because I took it before bed, but I'm sure sometimes I still snacked. It worked really well for me - I hope it will for you too!
