Oh my gosh, this anti nausea medicine is a life savor!! I've done two loads of laundry, vacuumed and just put a batch of banana bread in the oven. I feel alive again!!!!

judyblume14, My brother had that same issue with his pool last year at the same time they were expecting twins. My dad teases him and asks if getting a house with a pool is still worth it.
rinny, No advice but I sympathize. My dreams are like that 80% of the time.

thelittleredm, I stand by getting a house with a pool. I know everyone was right about them being crazy expensive. But... I still have a baller backyard, even if my bank account is almost empty!
LovesMeSomeCake , damnit. Your post about getting Omaha Steaks for you FIL reminded me that we have been wanting to order the "Happy Family" special they are advertising right now. But we don't have enough room in our GD freezer. #FWP
yeah, FIL is a spechul snowflake and gets pouty if he doesn't get physical gifts, so we can't just get him a gift card. we have been eating frozen stuff for a week to make room for his presents.
peaseblossom55, I love that rug! We really like the ones with different depths, not sure the actual name.

Is it something you need a prescription for? I'm thisclose to trying some meds.

I want one so bad, but with midwest summers being so short and unpredictable I haven't been able to sell DH on it yet. Our neighbors bought one of those crazy michael phelps swim against the current giant hot tub thingys, which could be a compromise, I'm afraid to look up the price though.

It is. It's Diclegis and it is a game changer for me. My nausea/vomiting was debilitating. You should definitely get something if you need it.

A quick google tells me "endless pools" are like 9K?

DH was staucnhly anti-pool during our house hunt. He is so boring. I grew up in FL so I am spoiled. Sadly, our house does not have a pool but we are a 2 minute walk from our development's least utilized pool. It was a compromise I could live with.

thats not awful, we heard the neighbors was in the 30K range all in.
No weekend plans here, I need to do some cleaning and grocery shopping but otherwise my plan is to do as little as possible.
Last night I went to my sister's house to watch their 3 kids. They were INSANE and I had way less patience than I normally do with them (5 years and 3 year old twins). Thank goodness DH came over with dinner a little later and helped them calm down.
My sister also gave me a car load of baby gear that she still had. I now have a changing pad (the cushy ones that go on a dresser), a rock n' play, a baby play mat, a Baby Bijorn carrier, some books and a bag of maternity clothes. She is smaller than I am so I'm not sure what (if anything) I will be able to use. Still a good washing of the fabric items and we have a great start on what we need. She even said that she had some more stuff up in the attic and she would slowly hand it over. I know she has a pack n' play and possibly a stroller that works with Graco car seats. I was joking with her that I won't need a shower after I get all of her hand-me-downs. I'll probably add these things onto a registry and then mark them complete so people don't buy me duplicates, and I'll add some toddler related items that I probably wouldn't have put on there otherwise...

Thank you! I don't know what the texture is either. I just really like it so I hope it works.
I'm about to go eat lunch I have a can of Amy's minestrone soup that I am irrationally excited about. I rarely excited about food nowadays that isn't chocolate.

Okay ladies, I need your opinion:
I will be flying by myself at the end of the month with DD. How do we feel about baby wearing while pregnant? I'll be almost 14 weeks and dd is 22lbs. I have a lillebaby carrier that I plan to use. I can't take a stroller and I just can't imagine having to carry her through the airport. Wwyd?

meeggaannww - I would wear my DD right now (8weeks). At 14weeks I'd still wear her, but only if it was comfy on my belly. But I have only ever front carried.

I'd wear, for sure. I think this early it would be ok, albeit tiring.

Thanks ladies! I think I'll wear her. opheliainwaders the ring sling is a fantastic idea! I haven't used it since my dd was much younger but I pulled it out today, just enough support to be super helpful.
