flyinghorses6 how on earth can you do 3 in a row?! I can barely do 2.. lol
I have only worked 8s since I had my daughter...so it's like a billion times easier. I usually don't do 3 in a row anyway because I only get to sleep until noon when I get home. So I literally live on 3-4 hrs of sleep a day when I work back to back.

J started preschool today and she's less than thrilled about it. Plus, she had a doctor appointment this morning, so the poor kid was dropped off early, picked up, and brought back to school in a matter of about 4 hours. FX she adjusts by the end of the day.
I also have a delicious homemade lunch - shrimp, guac, corn salsa, lettuce, cheese (all homemade from yesterday and delicious) - and don't want any of it. I'm craving fried fat with a side of fat. Must. Avoid. Five Guys.

I'm recovering from DS' 2nd birthday party today. My house is a hurricane BUTTTTT leftover cake for the win.
I'm trying to figure out how to evade the pregnancy suspicion this weekend. We have a 2 night work retreat to Niagara on the Lake. Aside from the fact that I've already opted out of the wine tour, I don't know how I'm going to deal with 2 formal dinners at a hotel renowned for being in wine county. Le sigh.
madam23 I love NOTL. It's so beautiful there. Good luck figuring out the drinking thing.
@everyonewhoismoving I moved last summer. I packed from April till the end of July. It felt like foreverrrr. If I ever move again, I will not draw it out. So maybe there's something to be said for last minute packing?

I'm about to go grocery shopping for the first time since pregnant. I'm dizzy, nauseated, and have a toddler with me. This ought to go really well, right?

pivot I'm so jealous of your new build. They are putting up a new home across the street from us and it is FLYING up now that the framing is in. We are in the middle of remodeling our new (to us) house and it is such a money rabbit hole of projects.

addymac - I have resisted the urge to go to Five Guys. I don't even like red meat really, but Five Guys is a different category of greasy deliciousness. And the locations by work AND my house serve shakes. WHHHYYYY!?!?!?!?!?!

EmMilAlly Good luck with your renovations! We fully renovated the house we're currently in! It was built in the 1960's and had wallpaper and carpet in every. single. room. including kitchen and bathroom. It was a nightmare, but totally worth it once we were finished! Would love to see some of your before and after pictures once you get things completed!!
We are going to be moving into a new house in a little over a month, so we are trying to price out what it'll cost to paint and replace carpet so we can get that out of the way and it's hella expensive. Idk if we will be able to afford to do the whole house or not.
Feeling crappy today because I couldn't sleep last night and the minute I stop eating I feel like I'm going to be sick. I'm not looking forward to the amount of weight I'm going to gain if this continues.
AFM today has been a great Monday after a very busy weekend. Went for a walk and play date this morning with by BFF and her kids and told her the good news I'm still in shock that I'm pregnant, so telling people helps it feel more real. Booked my Drs appt and can't get in until July 11th to confirm pregnancy but DS has his 1 year appt the same day so only one trip into the city for us, which is nice!
CoffeeOnIce I like Freddy's but haven't been to one in forever. They have some awesome custard! I don't really remember their burgers though. There's this local place I found where I live that serves In-N-Out style burgers, which are pretty good. Then there's Culver's which I'm told is like Freddy's? Idk. I love burgers but it's hard to find a good one.

I highly recommend you try the food too. Really thin burgers with good veggies! And the fries are bomb. I don't love culvers ironically if they are similar..but that's probably because they call it a butter burger. I mean I love butter, but it just sounds kinda gross to me.
I just told my H he needs to grill burgers asap, which he thought was pretty funny since I was eating a huge sub at the time. One of my favorite things about pregnancy is talking about food. I don't think I've ever had a legit craving, but all of my crazy food ideas come spilling out.

EmMilAlly, because he loves them. He doesn't get that we can't just eat straight from the store shelves, so he gets mad when there's stuff in the cart that I won't let him snack on.
