I struggled with this too. According to Sleepeasy you'll wait until they put themselves back to sleep then do a dream feed. But, I wasn't super comfortable with that. I fed her at her designated time and then the next night I moved the time I fed her up an hour so I'd get her before she woke up.
Thanks! I'm thinking we'll probably do something like you did. Especially since C's wake up times currently are all over the place, and I'm having anxiety about knowing whether not she's hungry.
I'm the same way. C currently still eats at 10 and 2:30 and I'm definitely not comfortable letting her cry if she's hungry.
Ds2 is sick and stayed home from daycare today. When ds1 got home he ran over to the baby to hug him and then said, "mom, I misssssssed him! I happy now! Baby feel better and come to daycare with me?!"
My Grandmom is really sick suddenly. She's had 2 bowel obstructions in the past and that's what we thought it was. She was jaundiced and in pain so went to the emergency room. But it turns out it's a gal stone and she has a major blood infection and is in the icu now. They've not done any procedures yet because her blood pressure is dangerously low.
She's 81, and has heart problems. So it's dicey to do surgery anyway.
ugotstarbucked I'm sorry you have to terminate the contract but it sounds like the right thing to do mowkey I'm so sorry about your grandmother! I hope things improve
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
Well, we started sleep training. She fell asleep after 22 minutes of crying. But.....this is how she fell asleep. We had to move her. I guess she doesn't know how to lay down from a seated position.
I'm really mad at daycare today. Normally I love their daycare but when I picked Sam up today he clearly had a fever. He was hot as could be so I immediately called his pediatrician and she changed the antibiotic he was on. We went to the pharmacy got the script and went home. When I took his temp it was 102.1 under his arm!! My poor baby. How could they not felt him? He was so hot. I'm really upset by this.
I would be too. Do you have any of the teachers numbers? I always text the teachers if something was off. They should know immediately.

ugotstarbucked - walking away is tough but I'm sure it's for the best given the issues uncovered in the inspection.
mowkey - I hope your grandmother gets better soon!
ntaylor989 - poor Sam! I hope he feels better soon.
cowplanet - I know you recommended peppermint oil in the past to me. Do you have a brand recommendations that I can buy (hopefully on Amazon). The brands at whole foods all say not to ingest and I know you recommended putting a drop in water so I thought to ask. Thanks!

Doterra or Young Living are top but also expensive. Eden Garden is cheaper and I think decent, though I've never tried them. The don't ingest warning is likely just to keep people from overdosing. One drop is all you need, peppermint is potent. Or you can get some Altoids or Trader Joe's peppermint and suck on several a day.
F is constantly shaking his head no. I know he doesn't know the context...it seems he thinks it is funny to see the world shake. Anyway, tonight he couldn't decide if he wanted to shake his head or nurse. Shaking his head won. Wtf.
He also wasn't tired enough to go to bed tonight after napping for 4.5 hours today, so we are now watching the baby channel. You know what baby's like to watch? Creepy shit. There are dancing mice and a bunny, and they aren't cartoon animals either. He is loving it.
He's so damn cute though babbling at all the weird animals. I love this age.
hovenb, I love this age too! Ellis just learned to shake her head this week and it's the cutest thing. It's so easy to forget that she doesn't actually mean no when she shakes it. She also learned to clap today. So fun!

Can I just say how truly amazing this board and our community is? I'm so grateful for all of you and the unwavering and unconditional support everyone offers to each other.
It's been an insanely emotional day and I'm having all the feels. But I love you all and thank you for a bright spot in a truly traumatizing experience. A is sleeping peacefully and I'm obsessively checking on her. Glen has been in tears and may legitimately have some PTSD from today's events.
Tl;dr: I posted on FB about my toddler having an allergic reaction and got phenomenon support from S15.

So many hugs to you, Glen, and A! (and M, just because she's cute).
