I know many of us have 1 month olds already. Want to do a stats thread.....how big? Diaper and clothes size? Sleep? Any milestones? Anything else? I should probably look at other BMBs to see what they include. Feel free to add a pic if you want..
9 lb 4 oz (50th%), I forget her height but I know it's like 90th percentile. She is still in newborn everything although probably not for too long. She eats every 3 hours still, but yesterday she was eating constantly every 1.5-2 hours, then she went a 6 hour night stretch. Still sleeping in rock n play and pack n play bassinet. We got our first social smile yesterday, but I bet it'll be a while before it becomes more consistent. She loves to have her head washed or rubbed. She is still very laid back. She nursesgreat now after some issues in the beginning. I'm going to take a one month picture today, so I will update with a picture later!

We'll play!
7 lb 11 oz, which is 3rd percentile, but up from a birth weight of 5 lb 8 oz! Percentiles are more like 10th if you correct for gestational age.
Length is 21 inches, 15th percentile
Head circumference 36cm, 15th percentile
We're still solidly in newborn size everything, but finally filling them out!
Milestones: I've seen him roll from front to back twice. He fixes gaze very well and is starting to track. Grasp has gotten much stronger and he's gaining some head control.
Sleep: he's pretty consistently giving us one 4-5 hour stretch overnight, which is beautiful. Otherwise he feeds every 2-3 hours, sometimes hourly during the day.
Feeding: He's been a fantastic feeder since day 1, for which I'm very grateful. We introduced one to two bottles of pumped milk at 3 weeks.
Likes: pacifiers, milk milk and more milk, lying on his back staring at light coming through the window

I love this, he's so precious!! And wow had he grown-great job, mama!
Reviving this, I know we have some newly turned 1 month olds!
DD's 1 month appointment was a little delayed due to our pediatrician being on vacation but we went yesterday and all looks great. She is 11 lbs 12 oz and 23 inches long, both I think 97th percentile. She's been in size 1 diapers and out of newborn clothing since about week 2.
Milestones: She will smile at me. She's grasps her blanket and my shirt. She's loves voices and will turn her head towards a voice.
Sleep: She will do a 5-6 hour stretch the first night time stretch (from about 8/9pm to 2/3am) and has even done a couple of 7 hour stretches which is fantastic. She might take 2-3 very short naps and one long late morning early afternoon nap. Short naps are typically in the Bjorn or on me, long nap is on her tummy. Our biggest struggle now is getting her to sleep in the first place. I'm trying to make sure we give her at least 30 min of unwinding time, it seems to help. Baby sleep is my arch nemesis. I long for the day I never have to think about it again.
Feeding: She takes about 20-24oz of formula a day and nurses 3-4 times a day.
Likes: Baths, being outdoors, fans, being walked around and ADORES this large painting we have hanging over our living room sofa, it's like her best friend. Makes me wish we had more art hanging on our walls.
Dislikes: Infant swing, bouncy seat, car seat, cradle hold (are we seeing a pattern here), being swaddled (although she doesn't sleep well without it either).

That is so strange! We have a painting hanging over our couch as well and L could stare at it all day long!
carolinaheart, that's so funny, yes she looks at it like it's the most amazing thing she's ever seen...every single time. Has certainly bought me some content baby time which is like gold!

She'll be 1 month tomorrow so we'll play too.
We haven't been to the dr in 2 weeks and won't go back for another month so I'm not sure what she weighs. I'd guess not quite 10 pounds but close.
We're starting to fit into some 0-3 months clothes and we're getting too long for some newborn. In between newborn and size 1 diapers.
Only wakes up to eat once or twice at night, probably due to all the cluster feeding she likes to do after 5pm. She's a great eater and sleeper though.
She gets really frustrated that she isn't able to roll over or lift her head yet. Damn you, motor skills! I feel like we are sooo close to social smiles but not quite. I've noticed her tracking me and if she's interested in something (a mirror, your face, aforementioned painting) her focus is great.
Likes: tummy time, mirrors, and daddy snuggles. LOVES bath time.
Dislikes: getting dressed or undressed and the pacifier, much to my dismay.
Stats: At his one month appt. DS was 10lbs 2 oz and 22 inches long. I have no idea what percentiles those are. Sizes: He is in 1 diapers, though they are a little big for him. The newborn ones were starting to leave marks on his legs, so I just have to fasten the 1s really tightly around his waist to prevent leakage. He is getting too long for NB clothes, so he is mostly in 0-3 sizes. Eating and Sleeping: The eating and sleeping is still pretty random. He's getting the hang of those longer stretches at night, but once he is up he is up for ages. It often takes 2-3 hours to get him back down, usually because of spitting up and eating over and over. Milestones: He has good control over his head and neck and feels pretty strong to me, particularly when he is kicking me in one boob while I'm trying to feed him with the other We get a lot of eye contact and the occasional smile, but I don't think they are social yet. Likes: Baths, nursing, sleeping on people, staring at men's faces in particular. Dislikes: Diaper changes, being put down if he isn't COMPLETELY asleep, and being made to wait even a moment for a meal!

I need to know the secret to why all your babies love bath time. Mine screams bloody murder and turns beet red every time and it makes me feel like a cruel monster for trying to clean him. He will fuss for lots of reasons but baths are the one and only thing that makes him think the world is ending.

Edit: although the world ends for a couple of other things as well for mine

Mine has never really minded them, so I don't really have any advice. But have you tried different types of baths? I usually use a tub a friend sent which is really more of a "sieve" type seat with holes. I fill one half of our kitchen sink (it is split into two parts) and put the seat over the other half, then I dump water over him with a container, soap him up, and then dump water over him again. When my mom gives him a bath at her place, she just fills her big sink, puts a towel in the bottom for him to sit on, and then plops him in there to wash up. I also have a little tub you put in your own tub and fill with water, but after leaning over the tub for 20 minutes my back was killing me, and it was actually kind of hard to keep his mouth above water, so I haven't used it since.

frecklesnbrains have you experimented with different temperatures? DS1 hated bath time but when I made the water much warmer he enjoyed it. Now he prefers the water much cooler. Just an idea. DS2 likes it only if he's floating in water not a fan of the bath seats.

DD likes baths but loves showers. If she spits up really bad and gets the both of us I will take her in the shower with me. She gets so relaxed and almost falls asleep. Maybe try a shower.

Both of my boys have loved baths. We have a baby bath with the infant sling and it works well. I make sure the water is warm but not hot and keep a warm washcloth over his tummy so it's not exposed to the air and cold. We finish with a warm towel that we put in the dryer a couple of minutes.

R loves bath time but ds1 didn't. A friend suggested I get in the bathtub with him and breastfeed. I did that at 5 days old and then continued bathing with him and breastfeeding for a few days/week. Eventually I didn't need to breastfeed anymore and it was a calming experience. Obviously this wont work for anyone with more than one kid but for ftm it's worth a shot.
Ds2 loves a warm wash cloth on his belly while he's in his tub.

Lurking
Bath time tip that works well for me is that I put a towel in the filled tub and wrap baby in it to keep him warm. I only open up the parts of the towel around the body parts that I am currently washing. The second I open it up 100% to take him out, all bets are off, but at least the bath itself was manageable!
Lo is 5 weeks. I have no idea how much he weighs (I'd guess between 10-12?) his height or his percentiles. He had a 2 week appt then doesn't have one until 2 months.
Sizes: he is wearing size 1 diapers and 0-3 month/3 month clothes. I think the 3 month fit because they are handy me downs and have been washed so many times.
Eating/sleep: he is sleeping one 6 hour stretch from 9:30-3:30 then he sleeps 2 hour stretches during the day. He eats when he wakes up for 10-15 min. I have given him 2 bottles of pumped milk successfully and dada has done 1. Dh can get him to take a pacifier but he won't take one from me.
Milestones: he's been lifting his head since day 1 but he's lifting it longer now. He grasps on to my shirt while breastfeeding like he won't let me go. I got one awake smile but looking forward to consistent social smiles.
Likes: mama, dada and brother's voices, the fan above my bed, sleeping close to mama or in the ergo, car rides, bath and bicycle kicks.
Hates: when mama takes too long to put boob in his mouth, swing or bouncy chair
At her one month: 10 lbs 8 oz, 86%, 21.5 inches, 64%, Head size 50%.
She's solidly into her 0-3 month. I guess size one diapers, but we cloth so everything is different. There are a couple brands where she fits in the os though.
Regarding bathtime, she's not much of a fan but neither was DD1 at the beginning. Then she loved it so we will see.
I've been getting a good 5-7 hour stretch a night , though not tonight. She eats like a champ, usually somewhere between every 1.5-3 hours during the day.
how big? Not sure, I'm guessing around 8, 8.5 pounds
Diaper and clothes size? Still in newborns but we'll be moving to size 1 once we run out. They are in newborn or 0-3, but they are still pretty slim for the 0-3, Theodore fills them out a bit more than Elodie.
Sleep? I'm jealous of all of you who have a good 5+ hour stretch! I keep waiting.. They are up at 11:30, 2:30 and 5:30 pretty constantly. Takes about 45 min to feed them both.
Any milestones? Eye contact, a few coos, can't wait for smiles and more cute noises!

E was a month old Monday! We don't have a 1 mo appt but when I weighed her last week she was 8 lbs 8 oz
Sizes: size 1 diapers although they're still a bit big. Clothing is nb although as we're being able to CD more she'll probably move to 0-3 mo soon.
Eating/sleep: she feeds great. Cluster feeds in the morning and evenings and then every 2-3 hrs the rest of the day/night. We're dtill up every 2-3 hrs at night. I think she's done a 4 hr stretch once or twice.
Milestones: starting to coo. She's a pretty smiley baby which I love. Starting to track visually
Likes: being held/worn. Her sister. Boobs (she'd keep my nipple in her mouth all the time if I let her). Tummy time
LOL- some of your one month olds are kicking my two month old's tiny tushy in terms of weight.
I'm right there with you! I have no idea how much he weighs now but my 7.5 week-old isn't even close to growing out of NB diapers and clothes yet. Tiny but fierce!!!

We had our check up today and homey is at 8lbs 15 oz. He is gaining about an ounce per day so I am super pumped at his growth. He left the hospital at 5.8, so we have come a long way
Dd was 10lbs 12 oz as her one month appt. size one diapers Starting to use 0-3month clothes She's definitely waking up and becoming alert. She adores the ceiling fans. And is starting to give a few social smiles here and there.

Not meaning to take over this thread talking about bath time but I just want to thank those who suggested the warm towel/washcloth technique. We just had our first non-traumatic bath experience. I measured the water temp - 100 degrees even (on the warmer side of the recommended range) and covered both his head and his belly with warm washcloths. He still gave me a "what on earth are you doing to me, mommy?" look and whimpered a bit but there was no full-out "lets-wake-up-the-whole-neighborhood" screaming.

holy coincidence! I came here after bathtime just now to post EXACTLY THIS.
The washcloth thing was amazing. He wasn't even in that great of mood going into the bath, and as soon as the washcloth went on his tummy, he was like, yeah okay, this is cool. Heater on the bathroom and towel on the towel warmer to top it off. Love you all for cluing us in
frecklesnbrains, glad his bath time improved! We do the wash cloth thing and I also leave the bath water running on a light trickle. I think she finds the sound soothing.

One month yesterday! Hoping to post a 1-month photo on the private board later.
As of earlier this week, he was 8 pounds, 12 ounces.
Sizes: using size 1 diapers, but there is lots of room to grow. Considering the switch to cloth soon. He still fits best in NB clothes, but we have a handful of onesies in that size and that's...it. DD was so much bigger, so I didn't plan on having a NB-size baby for very long. It'll be great to have all of the options when he's fitting better into 0-3mo.
Eating/sleep: he's a good feeder, in that it's constant. Morning and evening clusterfeeding pattern firmly established, with a good nap in the afternoon. I've gotten exactly one 5-hour stretch at night, but mostly I feel great if he sleeps 3 hours. Usually the first stretch is the best, and then I'm lucky to get 1-2.5 hour stretches after 1-2am.
Milestones: he's an adorable coo machine. If someone else is holding him and it's time to nurse, he'll switch immediately from crying to cooing as soon as he lands in my arms. It's pretty sweet. Still working on a real smile. We've just had a few hints.
Likes: boobs, napping while being held, staring at a glass block wall we have in the family room, bouncing on the exercise ball, being worn after the initial get-in-there part
Hates: diaper changes, any delay in feeding, pacis
Basically, it's possible packerfan4life and I have the same baby (just reread your post).
