Hai! On a layover in Atlanta. Will be in Miami at noon.
Old guy had the window seat and 1. Kept the shade down and 2. Kept the overhead air blowing on full blast. I hate him. You're not allowed window seats if you don't plan on looking out the window!
M had a difficult time going down last night (she was wired!), but was eventually able to stay asleep despite her snotty nose. I got the sads leaving her this morning.
I've been up since 3:30 and have to register and head to the welcome reception at 4:30. Hopefully I can sneak in a nap, but it's not looking promising.
I'm sleepy. Apparently I missed some monsoon weather and some rain last night while I was sleeping. Fx we get a good monsoon season. It's my favorite when we do!
Apparently I have nothing exciting to share today...

babys2015, sorry I would send you all the tequila drinks in the world if i could.
malvo, ugh annoying plane people are so obnoxious. FX you get a nap in!
sjep922, I loveee monsoon time there too! I am literally looking every single day at flights so I can come down. It's so expensive for us right now but whenever its not going be by $2500 I am there.

So I think we have decided to put our house up for sale? The one next door to us sold for 800k.....like what in the world is our market coming to where a TOWNHOUSE sells for that? We bought for 500 a year and a bit ago so the profit margin is high enough I think we want to do it. I am just soooooo scared we won't have anywhere to go. I found a house that was on love it or list it and so had a big reno done to it and was so close to my sister and perfect but it already sold I know worst case scenario we could just rent for a year until something comes up but that all seems stressful now with a small child. Anyways.....thanks for letting me vent out apprehensions!
I'm really late today, but I seriously have nothing to talk about. I'm so boring today. I'm about to head out for a lunchtime walk. It's super humid, so it probably won't last long. YUCK.
bnizzlebizzle, I was picked for a jury once and it was actually pretty neat. But.. if it happened now, I'd be like, "No.. I have shit to do. Please let me go."
malvo, Hope your trip goes well and travelling is easy and M has lots of hugs for you when you get home!!
maddisonrose, The thought of moving sounds exhausting, haha! I hope you can find something that you love AND sell yours at an awesome price. I can't believe your housing market up there. You could get a brand spankin' new townhouse down here for, like, $150k!
sjep922, Ok, help ... why do we love monsoon season? Is my definition of monsoon completely incorrect? Haha
ladymike well our Summer's here are super hot and dry. Like 110-115 degrees most days. Although monsoon season is more humid, the temps drop to around 100-105 and we get rain!! AZ does NOT get enough rain, so we love monsoon season. A break in the heat and rainy days.
Some years it ends up being more dust storms than rain, so I don't love that. But when we get the good monsoon storms I love it!
Maybe AZ people are just crazy? But most of us love monsoon season!

I got excused! I was panicking about scheduling child care and rescheduling appointments. It was a DV case against the current girlfriend who's accused of beating up this guys ex-wife. I probably wouldn't have been impartial anyway.
sjep922, OKAY! It all makes sense now! Hahah. I also educated myself via Google. Because, honestly, I was thinking monsoon = awful tropical storm-like weather. So, I'm like.. She wants super crazy windy damaging weather? No, y'all just want a rainy season. THE MORE YOU KNOW!
Flight #2 involved me sitting next to a woman who kept the window shade down. What is wrong with people!? It's not everyday you get to hang with the clouds!
The hotel is faaaaaaaaaancy. I needed help getting on to the elevator! It only works with your room card and apparently I was doing it all wrong. The shower wall is clear with an automatic curtain that comes down. Depends on how voyeuristic your guest(s) are feeling.
I'm super tempted by the mini bar. Never had one of those before either. But I'm pretty sure what's in there costs half my weekly salary.
And now I realize how sheltered of a life I live in bumblefuck Pennsylvania! We aren't this fancy.

I suck at stopping by anymore! I'll update on the ceiling drama once I catch up with all of you.
rvamama - I'm so sorry. T&Ps coming your way! What a rough patch!
babys2015 - Congrats on the new baby!! Hope everyone is doing well today! Do they have any idea what caused the abruption?
bnizzlebizzle - Sorry about jury duty. But yay for being dismissed. Haha. Can you tell I'm behind?
malvo - Can you please continue to document your travels? Because it makes me smile. I agree that window shades should always be up. I need to be able to look out, or a vomit. It's fun. Once I tell the person that, they switch and/or keep the shade up. And it's definitely a bidet. I can only imagine the look on your face as water sprayed everywhere. Haha. The shower wall/curtain sounds fancy! Pictures??
flat0422 - Whenever you find a suit, please let me know. I still need some new tops for the beach, which is only 2 weeks away. And what colors is the bride using for the shower? If they're bright and springy, I saw go for it. If they are pastels and quiet, I say pass.
maddisonrose - Holy cow that's a lot of money! GL with whatever you choose!
ladymike - I thought about walking around while my car got worked on, but it's crazy humid here too!

I'm sitting at the dealership, waiting on an oil change and for them to tell me why my check engine light came on I'm hoping it's something that costs zero dollars because that's how many we have right now. But it gives me a chance to catch up-
Ok so - water damage drama. We had waterfalls all day yesterday. The landlord wanted the repair guy to replace the ceiling panels and act like nothing happened. I asked the repair guy if he'd enjoy coming back every 5 minutes to replace them because it was a serious waterfall. Like 1.5" of water in a garbage can over an hour, waterfall. So they ended up leaving one panel out and letting it drain all day. Apparently the insulation around the duct work is completely soaked and has now decided to drain. Idk. There's obviously a leak in the roof but God forbid we even look at that. Other than that, we had Ns 15m appt this morning. He has some major stranger danger. I thought his head was going to pop off, just from getting his height and weight. Regardless, he is 25lb 4.5oz (80%) and 31.75" tall (68%) and still has a 96% noggin. She said to cut back on his milk and he'll start to eat more real foods again. She said he's working the system because he won't eat and knows that he gets milk an hour or so after. Smart kid is already pulling one over on me. Haha. Also on the words front - she said she's not super concerned that he has no words yet. She said typically the light bulb goes off at 18m, and speech therapy wouldn't even see him until 2. She said they would start with a hearing test, to which I assured her that he can hear, but she explained that he may be hearing things muffled and it's just enough for him to think he's repeating things, but they're coming out babbled. We shall wait and see. Sorry for the long update! I feel like I haven't been here in forever!

flat0422 - I'm headed to the mall when I leave the dealership so I will definitely check Macy's. We're headed to the Outer Banks. I'm so excited! Not ready, but excited!
I had a random girl friend request me on facebook. She lives in the town my parents live and is a stay at home mom/llr rep. No clue who she is and no mutual friends. Deleted
Hey friends... Lazy day here. Did some laundry and now at the pool. Should probably try to accomplish something else today! malvo- I really would have loved to see your reaction to the bidet in person. I mean this in the nicest way possible, but I LOLed a lot! flat0422- Cute suit! I found a cute monokini at Macy's the other day but bathing suits are hard. Also, another yes to the coral dress!
