Whine: I came in at 7 this morning and I'm still stuck here because I had that doctors appointment tomorrow.. There's a client meeting tomorrow that I have to get some plans and things prepped for - even more so now since I won't be here and they need to take this shiz with them.
Whine, I am missing 2 really important meetings tomorrow because of my last minute procedure scheduled for tomorrow (see nugget update).
Win () I will be ordered to do nothing tomorrow afternoon. I am essentially on "bed rest" for the rest of the day tomorrow so I don't have to do anything.
Whine: my procedure isn't until 12:30pm, and I can't eat anything after midnight tonight!!!! WTF, A pregnant lady who can't eat anything for more than 12 hours?!?! SO MEAN!!!! They better room service me some food for the second they finish that procedure: JIMMY JOHNS!!!!
Regarding the bolded. I think this would be my worst nightmare. Seriously, Ikea is bad enough without kids but a screaming toddler would be the end of me. I'm so sorry pinkluna!
yes. which is why my H and I having been waiting go to Ikea until this weekend. My mom will be in town and she said she would watch the kids so we could go pick some stuff up without them. What a wonderful valentine's date
Do they not have a kids area at your ikea? Ours has a kid are when you walk in that you can drop your kid at and pick up when you are done.

At ours the kids have to be 3yr+ and potty trained.
Whine: No school monday/ tuesday. Super sucky when Cooper only goes to school monday and friday. Also, all my labs are on mondays, I've had 1 out of the combined 6 I should have. At this rate, I'll never get all my skills checked off. Win: I did 2 miles on the treadmill and signed up for MuckFest.
heatherbee, I hope your pup is ok. FWIW, my coworker just had surgery on her pup for a mammary mass. Despite having some scary cells on an aspirate, the biopsy showed it was the type of mass that would have turned into cancer if it stayed there long enough.
vanessalc, summergirl1211 - My pup had her appointment tonight, and not great news. The vet looked at samples, determined it's most likely not just cysts, and the samples are being sent for testing. We should know by the end of the week what is it. Hopefully it's good news!

Aw, heatherbee I'm sorry it isn't good news. Fingers crossed for your sweet puppy!
I am going to add another whine even though it's Tuesday...
The ceiling in our family room is leaking...again. This time it is in a completely different area and it is a ton of water. My H got up on the roof last night to clear off all the snow but the water is still coming in. Of course we don't get home until almost 6pm so he wasn't able to call anyone until today to come look at it and because of all the snow we are getting we can't even get someone out to take a look at it until tomorrow sometime. I just want to cry. I am so sick of this house and all of the problems that we have had with it so far. We have only been in it for a year and it is just issue after issue. And we are supposed to be getting another huge storm on Thursday...I honestly don't even know what to do anymore. My H is at a new job and doesn't have time off yet and I am always the one that has to use my time to handle shit like this; and every day I have to take it is one more day that I won't be able to use for maternity leave. Moreover who knows when it will actually be able to be fixed, how much it will cost, and how much more damage we will incur while waiting for it to be repaired. I am so over it already. I honestly don't think we have had a single month where we did not have to deal with some sort of issue at the house.
Sorry that got long, but JFC I just want to catch a break already.

The one that we go to in Woodbridge requires that the kids be potty trained also AND be 36 inches tall. I took Andre the other day when it was cold and rainy, thinking that he'd have a great time and the lady attending the play areas was a huge bitch to us and wouldn't let Andre go in because he was literally a fraction of an inch too short. My plan was to let him play for the 30 minutes they allow and I'd wait outside; then we would go in and get the things I was looking for. She start by scrutinizing me on whether he was potty trained or not and if he was using Pull-Ups or regular underwear (which he was). I blew it off cause I didn't want to get pissed with her attitude. Then it was a huge ordeal to measure him without his shoes on and without him stepping on his tippy-toes because he was looking past the measuring tape into the play area where the trains were and she literally knelt down from behind the counter (10+ feet away) to get a parallel view to see if he meet the mark or not. He was at the most, 1/4 inches too short.

Ugh, that is so frustrating! I'm so sorry laurski81! Do you know when the roof was re-done last? I hope you get someone over there quickly and it's a cheap and easy fix. I feel for all you ladies who are getting a ton of snow. It's got to be overwhelming. Sending you hugs!

Oh geez! Good to know! I haven't been to Ikea since M was born, so of course I didn't pay attention before.

I'll add a Tuesday win/whine as well.
Win: My H is taking his physical test for the smaller police dept today. He should be fine with passing it because he went to the practice day 2 weeks ago and passed just fine.
Whine: At the practice day, he got talking to another guy there and got his number. He took the test yesterday. My H texted him last night asking how he did. He passed and the next part (the oral board interview) is next week. Problem is, my H has his LAPD testing every day next week. Now it's looking like he is going to have to choose which dept to go for. Sucks because then he has his eggs in only 1 basket!
@laurksi81 that really sucks, I'm so sorry the house has been such a problem for you!
@junkutrunk, I hope everything goes well... And maybe the interview will be the following g week for YH since his exam is later this week?! Wishful thinking, but it could be!

Good luck to your H today junkytrunk! Bummer he'll likely have to choose between the two though.

trixi282 I was trying to tell him that too. Maaayyyyybe.
Oh my gosh danielle1220, that's ridiculous! She just didn't want another kid in there, what a bitch.
[br
Yeah, it was so ridiculous. I almost just walked out right then and there but really needed to pick up some organizing/storage things so I sucked it up and did some shopping while Andre played with my phone to keep him entertained.
