****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
ntaylor989 ugh that would annoy to hell out of me. I agree leave him behind.
We had a good day. Z napped well and we went over to my parents this afternoon for dinner with extended family while my cousin is in town from TN. We had a nice time with the babies in the kiddie pool. But bedtime was a disaster. We left my parents late and Z went from drowsy to wide awake screaming on transfer multiple time. Took over an hour to get him down.
Right now there must be fireworks at the stadium downtown. Luckily they are far enough away that my dog isn't freaking out.
S went from crawling backwards to crawling forward, pulling up, and taking steps with his walker in the same day. He's like a whole new baby (with much more worrying from me). I appreciate that he's slow and methodical with his movements, though. L always moves as fast as possible so they have very different styles.
Fearsy, I'm sure you're not awkward. But no way M17 is as cool as us!
We had friends over for a BBQ. They have a 4 year old and 3 month old. A and their 4YO got along SO well. They've always gotten along fine but it was so cool to see them really play and have conversations and generally enjoy each other. A went to bed 2 hours late but she was really well behaved all day. I hope she sleeps in tomorrow. M will still wake up at 5:45, especially since she went to bed at her normal time.
My day started with multiple trips to Home Depot, it's gonna be a fun weekend. We're building a baby gate for the top of our stairs and every time I search for them on Pinterest txshep's always comes up We also hope to add bead board to the mud room and pimp out the laundry closet. Cal better nap well the next two days!

I'm kind of sad to leave our Pinterest-famous gate when we move. Hope the next owners like it!
Ellis is showing increasing prowess with and interest in her walker so yesterday evening we took her in the carpeted hall outside our apartment and she was able to walk with it for longer uninterrupted stretches. She loved it! It also tired her out pretty quickly. Will have to keep that one in the back pocket for those days when she's a ball of energy and our living room is not nearly enough for her

We are at a family reunion and we are only 30 minutes from our house at a resort. F slept the first 3 hours of the night great, but as soon as we laid down at 11, he was up until 2. He wasn't even mad about it. He was babbling and wanting to talk. We have never experienced these kinds of wake ups. It makes you feel like you are going insane. We finally got him down from 2-7 (with a feed at 530). It is sad that I think, well at least I got 5 hours.
Ugh. Hoping that was a fluke and not what this trip will be like.
This weekend I left Jacob at home with DH and went shopping by myself. It was awesome. I love taking Jacob out with me, but it is a lot to get him in and out of the car seat. After Jacob wakes up from his nap, we are going over to my parent's house for a cookout.
At an aquarium today and it's waaaaaaay overcrowded. Not thinking about pumping, I wore a dress that had to be pulled up instead of down. So now I'm pumping in a very crowded corner of the nursing room just waiting for some moron to come pull the privacy curtain back and expose my nearly naked everything (I mean I have undies on but ya know...).
We had two showings for our house today. Same couple both times. We also have more showings already scheduled for next week. I guess we've moved into the buying season?

Not so great. I tried it during nap and then again at bedtime, he screamed bloody murder and death gripped me until I removed it. He was already in his crib before and slept in it just fine, I mainly ordered it to see if it would extend his sleep length. Oh well.
Dang, I'm sorry. I know that thing wasn't cheap. Maybe it would help if you slept with it for a night or so to get your smell on it?

Oh no!!! Does he like feeling cozy or does he like moving around a lot in the crib. I hope he warms up to it!

Anybody else watch suits? We're binge watching the newest to Netflix season and is it just me or has this show gotten out of control? Like the drama used to be funny and now it's so ridiculous.
