I went to buy a card last week and couldn't bring myself to spend $6-$7 on a card so I left empty handed. Still haven't figured out what I'm going to do for a gift so I'm no help!

I bought a card yesterday and didn't realize until I left the store that it cost $8.00! Wtf?! It's paper!!!
We're getting nothing for each other lol we got a babysitter and were going out for supper and a movie!! I bought some sexy lingerie for after !! Also I refuse to spend lots of money on cards because they just go into the garbage anyways Dollarama for all the cards
I got DH a shirt for duke's coach k's 1000 win (he is obsessed) We are going to the lake of the Ozarks with my family and the baby for valentine's weekend. I know between my mom, aunt, and sister someone will watch LO so hubs and I can go out to dinner or something.
Last year I did a sexy nude photo shoot by a river for DH But I have to abstain from being nekked in broad daylight for quite a while to avoid burning anyone's eyes out...
So probably just a box of fancy chocolate and some not so fancy sex.
I just ordered DH's gift (this thread was my reminder!). It's Superman onesie pajamas. LO got Batman pjs at my shower, and DH has been saying he's jealous and wants a pair in his size. Hope he was serious!
ETA: I have big plans of making something cute from LO, too. Maybe handprints on a coffee mug or something? We'll see if it actually happens! If it does, though, I'm making one for myself, too!
MH is getting an iPhone 6 when he's upgrade eligible (thanks, generous employer), so I ordered him this case/wallet. It's from a Dutch company, and likely won't arrive in time, but he'd seen it online and liked it, so I took that as a hint.

We were able to go out on a date night last week so count that as an early v-day. So, I plan on sexy time . I will get my son some chocolates. Oh, and since going to the movies is out (we do a family outing for v-day as well) we are going to direct tv cinema the spongebob movie when it comes out.
I also have no idea what to get my BF, our year anniversary is also the day after Valentine's day..... yes I was pregnant for basically our entire first year together but I have no idea what to do for him for the anniversary
Our anniversary was in November. So I'm in the I was pregnant for the entire first year club too lol
We don't do gifts, or valentines day really, but the daycare center is having a parents night with dinner and drinks and babysitting which we're going to go to because why not.
I am going to put together a "Chinese" fondue dinner and wine tasting at home, with paired cheeses and fruits/chocolate. I really want it to be nice, since it's likely there will be a little one attached to me the whole time! Also, sexy time
Can you explain the Chinese fondue to me? I hate Chinese food but DH loves it.
He already got me my gift, which is membership to a wine club from our favorite winery in CA. It's kind of a gift to both of us since we will both be drinking the wine, but I am so excited!
I did get him a small gift, which is a Paddy's Pub shirt (from It's Always Sunny) so he can wear it to our annual St. Patrick's Day party.
Small box of ferrero rochers and a card. Might do dinner, some idiot friend of ours planned a surprise 30th for his wife for lunch on saturday at greene turtle (sports bar/restaurant) with friends but no kids invited, yea so just take our couples celebration and hog it for your wife's bday?!
colliebabe, which winery? We're members at Cosentino and St. Supery. I'm a wine club junkie. We're heating back to Napa for a wedding in September-- woot!

I am unfortunately still on pelvic rest as Mina will only be 5 weeks old, so we are going to be incredibly boring. (The husband has been somewhat of an ass lately, so that's probably for the better.) So unless he made plans, he'll have to settle for a card and a wife who is actually willing to snuggle with him. Sorry bro, that's all you're getting. :/

ainslie325 It's from Carhartt in Santa Barbara - the owner is the grandson of the Carhartt clothing company. I am so jealous you are going to Napa! I was just telling H I want to do a San Fran/Napa trip. I've never been!

Dude... We went to a fucking WEDDING on Valentine's Day last year. They actually asked DH to be their reception musician so we didn't really have a choice because they told him the date after the fact. Talk about attention hogging.
