Hey ladies. On my way to NT scan. Running late because DH left work later than he should have. We have DS with us. I hate fucking with nap time but this was the earliest appointment I could get. DH plans to stay with him in the car if he passes out. FX that he does. Kid needs his sleep.

Today is my Friday and it's my work from home day. I've been multi tasking with laundry too. Tomorrow is the wedding that I am dreading. I am treating myself to a manicure when I am done with work today. I am waiting to hear back from my manager on something I'd like to finish today...
I say through 6 hours of teleconferences this morning so am enjoying my lunch in the sunshine instead of at my desk for a change. Than back in for another 4 hrs of back to back meetings. I hate Thursdays at work.

Thanks for all the well wishes ladies. Unfortunately the scan was not as great as expected. The good: Baby was all wiggly with a heartbeat of 162. Bad: The NT measure came out on the higher end of average. Wasn't abnormal but it was on the line. We are meeting with a genetic counselor tomorrow to go over everything and decide on next steps. I know this doesn't mean anything is wrong but... I can't help but feel worried. I am currently more in shock than anything. I am sure anxiety will kick in soon.
heybulldog56 fx everything ends up being okay. I know it's hard not to go down the anxiety deep end, but within the normal range is hopefully still good.

FX that everything is ok heybulldog56, the same thing happened to my sister, they did the NIPT everything came back normal and my niece is absolutely perfect.
Fx everything ends up well heybulldog56. I'm sorry for the added anxiety! Hopefully you'll just get the option of a non-invasive fetal dna screen/test to make sure everything is good.

We flew home yesterday and I'm back at work today *womp womp*. Tired and having a lot of nausea this afternoon after not having much the last week. I've also been getting dizzy/vertigo spells since Tuesday night and that is not fun at all.
Got to tell my parents about baby #2 and they were super excited! My siblings are excited too. Though reality means we probably won't be back out there until October 2017 for my brother's wedding. Hard to believe the new baby will be almost 10 months old at that point.
Midwife appointment tomorrow to schedule my NT scan, have a lot of blood drawn and do a 1 hour glucose test. Not looking forward to it but I hope I get to hear baby on the doppler.
