DD's stump fell off during a diaper change last night. I made DH leave his beloved video game to come (1) take the stump away, I was semi grossed out, and (2) be there for the moment, this is our last baby and all of these "last first things" make me sad. Thanks PP hormones. Thanks a lot.

athn64 I'm hoping dd doesn't get the acne. Ds did and it was... Not attractive.
The last firsts are no joke. I have cried every single day about it. I know it's mostly due to hormones but yeah. A friend of ours is having her first soon and every time I see her belly I get sad. I want more babies in theory but don't have the house or finances to do it. Also I don't think our marriage could handle more kids.

My baby is super gassy today. Probably because my milk hasn't come in and he is cluster feeding anyway, poor kiddo. Also my dog is in love with the new baby - she is trying to lick him constantly and guard him. It's kinda sweet but I'm more afraid she will accidentally hurt him.

Yeah. We could technically house one more, but the other expenses would be a bit much. I'm sure once i get further out the grief I'm feeling over it will diminish

Dinner time with one "nursing" (quotes because I don't think much more than colostrum is coming out), one being a toddler, a husband, and a begging dog - no joke! I don't know how to do this yet! Also complaining because I no longer look pregnant - just fat - awesome. ETA: I'm also drinking wine my coping tool.

Don't feel bad, I'm 3 months in and still haven't figured it out! My evenings are crazy since DH doesn't get home until 7:30 or 8:00.

Omg. How do you do that?! I'm having an anxiety attack just thinking about this!

I'm 2 weeks out tomorrow and I look significantly less pregnant. I was mortified when I took a good look in the mirror the day I got home from the hospital. I took pics this morning for the workout thread and then chickened out on posting them. Lol.
10mos old and still look pregnant. But on the bright side, having two gets easier. Trust me. You'll get there! Just takes a little time to find your groove.
Thanks Susan! Our latch is not great yet. I think part of its just waiting for the milk to finally come in and then he won't be so rabidly aggressive
Once they're raw, it's hard to get them enough of a break to heal. I'm sure an LC can adjust your latch. Come on milk! Mine was 5 days- so freaking long...

My milk never really came in this time. At least that I can tell. I had one day where I was mildly uncomfortable, wore a tight bra and iced them. The next day boobs were normal, no pain. Helps me realize I made the right decision.
Seriously dinnertime and bedtime with a baby and a toddler are no joke. Haven't figured it out yet. Doesn't help DS2 is most alert and most cranky from 4 to 8 or 9 pm and wants to cluster feed. The swing and pacifier do nothing to calm him. Babywearing does help.
Ok little man has some dry scalp going on. No gross looking cradle cap yet, just some flakiness. Any tips or products to use? I'm guessing the Honest shampoo I use for DS1 is not moisturizing enough.

I do ok with both during the day but come dinner time all hell breaks loose. It's complete insanity until we put ds in the crib for the night. Must figure out how to make it easier, but don't know where to even start. It doesn't help that dh completely freaks out and just shuts down. Last night he said, "I hate my life right now." when ds threw water out of the tub and I lost it. Cried and cried some more. I know how frustrated he was but him saying that made me so sad.

We might be married to the same man. MH does the same thing and has said similar things in the heat of all the mayhem. Seriously they can't say shit like that to hormonal pp moms. It can only get easier...right?

Dd2 still has some dry scalp and cradle cap. I wash her hair 28th the up(up baby wash, and use my go her nails to gently scratch it off. Seems to work pretty well for us.
microworm we still use exederm baby shampoo since DS gets bad dry scalp in the winter, I get it at my local supermarket but have trouble finding it elsewhere
