M sounds like a gremlin in his sleep. He is so loud, he grunts and smacks his lips, and there is a disturbing amount of snorting and heavy breathing. The sound of his diaper rustling all night long is killing me. I'm thinking of putting him in his crib because having him right beside me is killing me slowly.
graciest719, She's good, thanks! At least, not worse. No fever, but keeping at eye on it. Luckily, my mom is up to watch her today so I don't have to worry about DC. Still have no idea about the little dots on her feet.. they just look like tiny red dots.. nothing harmful. They aren't raised like you see in pictures. Not even remotely that disgusting.
By the way, malvo, HOLY CRAP. I should have listened to you. Guys, don't Google that shit. You may lose your breakfast.
SO, I have no idea what's wrong with my kid, will reassess when I get home. My mom never takes any of it seriously and seems unintelligent when it comes to these issues so I won't even ask her for advice.

I've been MIA because beach! My kid has no fear and runs (and also crawls for the full face effect) into the ocean. Waves don't scare him. He also uses shovels as spoons and tried to eat the sand. And he jumps into the pool. It's been so much fun! The only downfall is that our room is below the kitchen/living room and people are freaking loud. My cousin's kids get up at 6. It's painful. But N slept until 8 today so I really can't complain. I hope to check back in for more than love tits but no promises.
portuguesemama I'm jealous of your beach trip! So glad you're having fun and N is having a blast Enjoy!
graciest719 +1 on not being able to stand the sound of baby diaper rustling in the MOTN. I dislike when we're at the cabin and M is in the same room as us. She's so noisy!
graciest719, I kicked N out of our room at 5 months. If I had another, I think I'd get started much sooner. It was very sweet for the first tiny baby, but .. no.
portuguesemama, glad you're having fun! Keep sharing, I want to take a beach vacation vicariously through you. Haha. I miss the beach!
Morning! Nothing too exciting going on. M took her shots like a champ and has been acting and feeling just fine despite them.
The pediatrician told us that he's unhappy with M's current eating situation and believes she is gaming the system. She is constantly refusing Option A because she knows she'll eventually be given Option B. Dinner is dinner and she shouldn't be given a million options until something takes (and she can't live off raviolis).
So, last night, SO gave her turkey burger, sweet potatoes, and carrots. She ate mostly everything except for the turkey burger and then just screamed and screamed and screamed. Super fun.
DC is hopeful that things will change when she moves to the toddler room (this month), where she'll sit at a table for lunch with the other kids. Head teacher hopes M will watch the other kids and start chowing down. FX.
Colder milk is also going well. We've been taking the chill off, but not making it warm. So it's still cold, just not as cold as when you first take it out of the fridge. I think she'll be over the warm milk thing fairly soon.
malvo my pedi said e will go through spurts with eating which she does and with drinking milk. Some days she chose down others she won't eat much. Some days she drinks a lot of milk others she barely has any.
malvo We had the same issues with O. Sneaky babies. It took a few weeks of crying (for both of us) but it got better. I definitely think watching other kids eat will help. You're doing great mama!
portuguesemama so jealous you're at the beach. Glad you are all enjoying yourselves though!! Have fun.
graciest719 I think we all started sleeping better when A moved to her crib! I think we were making too much noise for her just like she was for us.
malvo did you end up feeding her option B after all last night? We have the same issue with A, I think. She knows if she doesn't eat what I give her she will get one of her staple food items she loves.
Morning! A sttn without making a peep! Fx that means she is feeling better. She's just starting to rustle in her crib, so I'll go get her shortly. Yesterday evening was rough and I hate seeing her like that, so I hope I have my happy baby back!!
Work today and I may be taking out some clients. Eek!!

portuguesemama I'm glad you're having fun at the beach! Your tales of N's bravery would make me nervous, though. Like you'd have to keep your eye on him at every second.
graciest719 I kept DD1 in our room until 8 months and hardcore sleep training. I kept DD2 in our room until 11 freaking months because I was nervous about the transition to sharing a room with big sister. Both times I should have moved them earlier and gotten better sleep.
malvo sorry for the feeding woes. I think some kids are just picky. I only give one option and DD2 will eat nearly everything but DD1 who has always been picky will eat what she likes. I swear DD2 eats more than DD1 and there's a nearly 3 year age gap!
ladymike I like the name you chose(?) for your cat. She'd make a good Roxy. We were blessed that our cat was older and adopted, so she came with a name already.

Not a very exciting day here. I'm reorganizing my room since I don't have a toddler to entertain or try and unpack all the boxes I'm using to sort. Yesterday I found a birthday card I gave to my husband almost 7 years ago. We need to get rid of stuff!
At 10, when registration opens, I'm going to try and sign up for the local half marathon. I did it 3 years ago and keep getting pregnant or out of shape, so I think I can try again this year. I must currently be deep in summer mode because I don't know when/how I'm going to train when school starts up again.
My training of my parents cat and e are going great. E now runs to the cabinet where the treats are kept to give him some. Monday he tried to take the treat from her hand. Major progress from the other month when I started and he wouldn't come within a few feet of her even with the treats. E is so happy when she is done as well.
ladymike, when A had HFM all she had were a few tiny red dots on her hand that I completely missed. The pedi found them at her checkup only because she had a blister on her tongue. It's possible she'll only have a few tiny bumps. She also ran a low fever for a day or 2 then she was fine. portuguesemama, jealous of the beach!!!
I'm leaving work. I'm tired and I pulled something in my back trying to get the dog outside. He's not feeling well so we're going to the vet this afternoon. I'm going to take advantage of being home alone for a few hours and clean and maybe take a nap!
bekbek, awwwwesome! I mean, it's not, but.. good to hear that it could just be super mild and she'll be A++ quickly!! I do want to check her mouth later if she'll let me. Ha.
@megaugust10, we are kitty training as well with the new little one. N is surprisingly gentle and we just keep repeating it over and over and over. Haha. This kitty is pretty chill, too, so that helps!
Guys. This is insane and so sad. What is wrong with our world?
The State Police just sent out an information bulletin in regards to POKEMON GO. Because people are injuring themselves and committing crimes using the lure module or some shit. Like, an employee with the State Police had to take time to do research and discuss this with people. Despite ALL OF THE OTHER FAR MORE SUPERIOR ISSUES we are dealing with in this world.. ?!??!
I may have to give up on humanity very soon. Start homesteading in the far corners of Alaska.
We also just picked R up from her moms. She was there for 5 days so we all missed her. It is so damn sweet seeing how excited they are to see each other! It just makes me so happy.
sjep922 We did not cave. That was the dinner she was given and that was that. She then had 7oz. of milk that she drank over a 60 minute period, and then went to bed. I was certain she'd wake MOTN due to being hungry, but she didn't.

I think I need to start doing this. I'm tired of always making something extra for A. But worried about her going to bed hungry. And being an pain all night because she's hangry. She also throws food she doesn't want on the floor despite our efforts so that gets frustrating. But I think dinner needs to just be dinner. Just like with R.

portuguesemama that looks sooo fun (also exhausting) glad you guys are having a good time
malvo I feel for you on the dinner time screams. Can't think of many things as torturous as that. FX M starts eating better for you guys.
