DS and I are up and dressed. Lucky boy gets to come along to my OB appointment. I have promised him a doughnut from dunkins on the way. I am pretty sure I am more excited about the doughnut than he is.
It's Friday!!!!! And I'm gonna be finishing up a big project at work today, on time, and this will take such a load off of me for a bit!!!!!! Please excuse my exclamation point abuse. I'm a little excited!!!

Working from home. Busy. But also probably able to get a few chores done to avoid doing work this weekend!
Signing off at 2, playing in/by the pool, then getting a pedi before DH and DD get home. Going to a wedding tomorrow and feeling on-top-of-things because I already sent my gift!
DD had a crappy night of sleep last night, which means I had a crappy night of sleep too. Up from 4:15 to 5:30. I think it's because DH has been putting her to bed most nights since I'm home with her all day and he wants the time with her, but he went to a concert last night, so I did it and it was a variation from her routine.
We were supposed to meet up with a friend who has a newborn, but she cancelled because her baby didn't sleep very much at all. I can't say I'm looking forward to that.
I think DD and I will just head to Target and the grocery store instead.

I am so glad it's Friday. I hope the day goes by fast I am tired and want a nap. I have to go to target after work and the veggie market, I need food and some shorts.
heybulldog56, I now want a Boston Crème donut so badly.
I'm sneaking in a pedi today. I need one so badly. I feel awful for the tech who gets me because my feet are in rough shape. Ya know what I don't understand? How DH, who doesn't do a single thing to his feet, can have baby-smooth feet year round?! Is it because he wears socks and sneakers 99% of the time?
Happy friday! I've had a craazzzzyyyy week. I need to stop offering to make labor intensive desserts. I made macarons last night and my back is killing me.
I've had a total of 2 pedicures. I like them, but they're expensive. I've never had a mani because they're expensive and I chew on my nails. It would last for like 2 hours.
peaseblossom55 thank you! I hope your headache goes away soon, and I'm sorry about all the rlp- it's bad enough with one baby I can't imagine how awful it would be with two

ashtog, hope DS feels better. Having a sick kid is rough for everyone. Also, I really want to watch to watch secret life of pets! peaseblossom55, hope your headache goes away.
As for mani/ pedis, I get pedis as often as I can. Love them so much.

Happy Friday ladies! Well, I did it. I told my boss I'm KU. As expected he was super excited, and it's a good thing I told him because they're considering adding another position to our team next year. Hopefully this is what the management team needs to pull the trigger because we badly need more help!

I get occasional sharp pains, some dull ones even when I'm not moving. I can deal, I haven't had any for a good week or so.

summergirl1211, hooray!! What a relief! DS is OBSESSED with the garbage truck toy we got him on Prime day. I think I will be getting a lot of relaxing couch time this afternoon while he plays with it.
DH is currently pissed at me because we disagree about how to spell the middle name we have picked out and I told him I figured I could put my foot down on something about the next kid's name since he demanded that DS have the same name as him. Apparently because DS has a different middle name and is not a true "junior" he thinks he lost so I don't have any veto power.
Part of me just wants to legally change DS's middle name to the same as DH's so I don't have to hear about it any more. It's already a pain in the ass with paperwork and stuff to have two people in the family with the same first name.

Good morning! I'm currently biding my time before I need to go hang out at reception for an hour. I'm so sleepy today. I tried making faces in the mirror in the bathroom at work to wake myself up. Mostly, it just made the circles under my eyes glaringly obvious.
I've heard from like, 4 or 5 people that they're leaving work early today. Screw them.
