Happy Monday ladies. I'm so sorry for the sick kiddos and poor pups. Hopefully the rest of the week is less eventful for everyone!
aprilz81 , good luck with your 3D u/s! I always heard it was nearly impossible to tell until 16 weeks at least. When they say they guarantee it do they just give your money back if they're wrong? I mean, I guess they have a 50/50 shot of being right so it's a pretty good gamble.
Work is slow right now (knock on wood) so I'm online shopping for deck furniture and outfits for our family pictures next month. I love the family pics but hate coordinating everything!
LovesMeSomeCake , it's so great to see you back! I was getting worried about you lady.
If they can't tell with any degree of certainty they refund you a portion of the fee. We also get a discount on a return visit later in the pregnancy, but I doubt we will use it.
I have a level 2 ultrasound scheduled for August 15 (AMA benefit) so they will be able to tell for sure by then.
Ugh. Horrible day. Was out sailing with DD, MIL and FIL and was about an hr out when I started to feel a wet gush down there. Bled all the way through my white linen shorts. Am currently wearing one of DDs diapers as I go to the store to buy pads. Called my OB and she said it's not unexpected with the SCH, and another ER visit isn't necessary. Just gotta decrease my activity level way down. I called DH and he's cutting his work meeting short to come back down the cape and limit my solo parenting time.
Luckily I had the foresight to pack my Doppler, so I'm able to have the peace of mind of finding peanut's heartbeat easily.
These sch's are a real mind trip. Oye.
How awful! I'm so glad you had the doppler and were able to find the heartbeat. (((hugs)))

Sorry about the test tex. As for bras LovesMeSomeCake, I have nothing to add except I had the most amazing target nursing bra. I wore it until it was a rag, literally. Loved that thing. I am sure that is super helpful Oh, and I was gifted three different diaper bags. I used one (skip hop) for a bit but I eventually just switched to my oversized hobo style purses.

Trying to remember all the things to comment on. Diaper bag. I have a skip hop cross body bag that I don't hate but I don't love, dh picked it out. Bra- my boobs are small and don't grow that much for pregnancy. I remember living in nursing tanks for a long time though. I had 2 nursing bras I got at motherhood that I hated and stuck with the tanks. They helped with the belly too as pp mentioned.
tex sorry for the test, hopefully things change once you get set up with your new doctor.

We actually got out of the house tonight, DD and I went with my parents to pick mangos at a friends house. I don't eat mangos but it was nice to get out of the house and see the ocean for a bit. We live close but I never take advantage of it.
I dropped DS at the grandparents this afternoon for his overnight. I got so much cleaned up around the house without the little man following behind me and destroying everything. Then mh and I went out to a fancy Italian place. Can't beat homemade pasta! I got the shrimp linguine with a light pesto alfredo sauce. It was delicious and I'm trying to resist eating my leftovers now. Then we wandered around town and hung out in the town square catching Pokemon. Is this what being an adult is like?
