@janetheconquerer M has been working on teaching me patience since he got here. He reminds me over and over again that he's doing things on his own time line. Some days are easier than others to not worry, today has been a tough one. Thanks for that, outside reminders help.
Okay ladies WWYD? I was in a meeting tonight and H texted me that J was being fussy the whole time, he took his temp and it was 100.5. He has been a little congested and really drooly so I was thinking teething. Given the fact that H and I both have colds I'm starting to think its a cold. If his temp is back down in the morning and he is back to his happy self, would you send to daycare? Am I horrible for asking? I have a meeting at work and I feel pressured to not miss and H doesn't have a lot of time.

joi922, we watched it all evening. I was about 1/3 horrified, 1/3 confused and 1/3 laughing at the ridiculousness (come on, playing Freddie Mercury at the RNC?!?!?). Giuliani sounded like he was yelling out letters on Wheel of Fortune, I was dying!

Not horrible. I'd be sending him in. In fact I've been in the same situation this week. Ds's temp has been fluctuating around 99.5-100 at daycare. DD went through the same everytime she cut a tooth. If I kept him home everytime he had a low temp I'd be poor from missing work. Sometimes you just have to take that chance and hope for the best.
I have to find a clip of Giuliani at the RNC. I heard it was....interesting. he did a lot of good things for New York City when he was mayor, but he seems to be losing it a bit lately with some shit I've seen him saying.

E woke up early which means he'll definitely need a morning nap. I'm hoping to get outside and play in the pool before its to hot to do anything. We have an excessive heat warning starting tomorrow and a flash flood watch that I think starts tonight. I'm hoping we can play in the water before the rain starts. Not much else planned. I want to clean my hardwoods today at some point,
@janetheconquerer good luck with the interviews! You're awesome and you got this!
@mrspanpan I hope you guys feel better soon. It's so hard to drop off your little when they're not feeling well. So many of us have had to do it, you're not a bad mom, you're a working mom who does what she has to do.
tuscanlatte I hope your trip goes well, how long will you be gone?

Does anyone know how long cows milk can sit out before you need to pitch it? Like if I'm taking the kids out and about and want to bring cows milk for Ethan but he wants a bottle 2 hours after I took it out of the fridge is be ok right? I'm trying to figure out how to have a bottle ready for him if needed.
I'm now trying to decide if I have a cold or if it's sinuses. We're supposed to visit with a friend and her daughter that we haven't seen in a while. I'm going to see how I feel and how M is when he gets up to determine if we're still going to meet them. I'd hate to cancel, but I don't want to risk getting them sick.
