I'm going to be late to work because my H got stuck at work and I almost ran out of gas. I offered to treat a patient early because our coverage therapist gets in since my co worker is on vacation this week. I'm failing at Monday already and it's not 8am yet.
@megaugust10 M willingly goes to her teacher and once she's strapped into her high chair for breakfast, she waves bye. Peace out, mama! I got baby things to do! So, yeah, I feel your pain.
Morning! After a fun weekend with the wedding and all, it's back to work. Boo.
I dosed M with Motrin and sent her to school. She has a cold, but it's just a stuffy/snotty nose. No fever and she's eating and drinking. I have no PTO, so off to school you go!
It's rainy and damp and gross. We need the rain, though, so I guess there should be no complaining.
Oh! We ordered the Save the Dates last night! Squee! Can't do the invites yet as we don't know what time the wedding will be held. We currently don't have a pastor, so... we wait...
I'm all the negative feels today, so I won't say much until I've had my coffee! Hopefully that improves my mood 'cause I got nothing else. At least my boss is away all week; though, I would not be surprised if he called or texted me. I'll flip out if he does. FLIP OUT. FLIP DESKS.
@megaugust10, breakfast is always more important than saying good bye, haha. babys2015 you got this! malvo o0o0oo I'm so excited for you! Did you get H on board for a m15 bachelorette party?!
Still in GA, so no work/school for us. P pooped on the toilet again this morning, got him to clap and say "yayy" for himself, then I went potty and he said "yayy" for me. I think he's finally learning its good to go in the toilet. Anyways, not much else going on because everyones still sleeping :/
R starts school today. 5th grade. Last year of elementary. So crazy. She's starting a new school this year that's right by our house. She's nervous since she won't know anyone. Fx she meets a couple of friends fairly quickly!!
I have no idea what I'm doing, but I think it's working. This whole 2 under 2 thing is no joke. I've been working really hard to get K to understand that she had to be gentle with J. It's getting there, I think. Slowly but surely.
Yesterday, K didn't feel well so it was rough. 4 poops later and she was a different kid. I guess she had an upset tummy. My only accomplishment today may be that I got both kids packed up and took a walk, but I'll take it.
I ask N, "Did you poop??" and she'll look at me, "HUH?" and grab her butt. LOL. She's learning that stuff, but do not plan to even think about potty training until she's 2. I'm too tired. Haha.
malvo we just use the toilet, but I do want one of those toilet seats so they don't fall in, hah. ladymike hahah, thats so cute. P has no clue whats going on in his diaper. And we're not really potty "training" (taking it incredibly slow) …but the potty trainer in me is kinda going nuts. I just want to do it and be DONE! But he can't hold his bladder, so I'm not about that life. I will not sit my kid on the potty every 10 minutes to achieve "staying dry." At that point its like, who trained who?
ruemorgan, yay for poop on the potty. A sits on the potty but never actually goes. I'm really hoping we are potty trained by Christmas. TheTuna15, you'll get the 2u2 thing. It's challenging but fun! I dropped my girls off in their new classes at DC today. It took everything in me not to cry. They both went right in and sat down for breakfast. My babies aren't babies. I cried all the way to work!
ruemorgan yay P!!! He's doing great! We are still practicing going potty on the days I am at home. We have her in pull ups now because she will take regular diapers off.
OMG. I don't even have a kids potty. How can it be time to potty train? My kid can't even talk.
I fucking suck at everything.
DEEP BREATHS AND HAIR PATS.
Right there with you on the potty business. M is showing zero signs of being ready for potty training. Like, she'll giggle when she farts because... classy... but otherwise doesn't indicate to us what's going on in her pants.
We'll tackle it when DC is ready to work with M. She's still in the older infant room and they don't work on potty training in that class. So, we'll wait a bit longer and work on at least buying a potty Baby steps!
My neighbor asked my hb and i today if we could watch their 2 yr old tonight. They have something for school for the 5 yr old tonight, Wednesday, this weekend and next month day and Wednesday. I am sure they knew about it longer then this morning but just now asked. They have to be at school (right around the corner) at 6 and it ends at 730. Hb said we can only do tonight and next Monday. Some kind of notice instead of a few hours is nice he already has dinner figured out hopefully they feed her because ours will not be enough.
