Trying to figure out a first name that goes with...

The middle name of Albina (ahl-bee-na)

I know... Not a typical name but it's my H's grandmother's name and he wants to honor her if we have a girl.

I'm kind of stumped as to what normal first name could go with this... Any suggestions?

Since it's a mn, you could really go with any fn that you both like.

Things I would avoid:
Names beginning with Al (Alicia, Allegra, etc)
Names ending in -ina (Christina, Georgina, Selena, etc)

What types of names do you prefer? Classic, popular, underused, a particular ethnicity/heritage?

hangry, personally I'm really stuck on the name Molly but H doesn't want it and I'm not sure it even would flow properly with Albina. He wants Sophia which is an absolute no because like you said it's a name ending in -ina.

I like classic and underused names, but not too out there.

I agree that I think any name that doesn't rhyme seems okay to me.

allisong87, the first names that came to my mind, no lie, when I saw Albina were two syllable names that end in Y like Lucy, Mary, Molly... although I like hangry's suggestions a lot as well.

Molly is a bit too informal as a given name IMO, but I like PP's suggestion of Mary nn Molly.
