I'm 2.5 weeks PP and my libido just came back with a roaring vengeance....I wish I could stop bleeding!
This! Laying in bed last night with BF cuddling and all I could think about is climbing on top of him..... except all that blood.
Yes! This exactly! Plus the whole makeout sesh beforehand didn't help. I can't remember which of you ladies said it. But it's like being a teenager all over again.
You guys realize you can at least still get off, right? There's nothing stopping you from having an orgasm, there just shouldn't be any penetration involved. Might help relieve some of the frustration.
For me there's too much blood and too much mess. I have no patience.
I just bought lube for the first time ever. I stood in the aisle staring at all the different kinds like an idiot, thinking "WTF does any of this mean?" Yesterday was the 6 week mark sooo... It's business time.
I'm so nervous.
And that's why I buy online lol. Plus I'm incapable of making a purchase without browsing reviews first. That's how I found liquid silk, which I highly recommend. Pump top is a great feature and it doesn't get tacky. So so so much better than ky.
I got the go ahead for whenever I stop bleeding but I'm not there yet.
Damn, why didn't I have the foresight to at least do the research beforehand? I just ended up buying good ol' astroglide because I've heard it's good for shaving your legs too. Plus buying online would have saved me this awkward confrontation at checkout: Cashier- Can I see your ID? Me-*hands her ID* Is this for the cold medicine, or the Astroglide? Ha ha... Her- ... Me- Nevermind... Her- Um, it's for the cold medicine. Not the... other stuff.
I'm actually not bleeding anymore, but things don't feel "normal" yet, so I don't want DH trying to figure it out, and I either have a baby attached to me or I'm sleeping most of the time. Guess I need to move it higher on the priority list! Shower maybe?
Nah. Your priorities are in the right place! The only reason it was even on my mind is because I've been having sex dreams almost every night since like 3 weeks PP.

I'm so ready. TMI, but I'm an over producer and have never needed lube. I wouldn't know the first thing about buying it or using it. Please tell me I can buy this on Amazon (and say it's a "gift" so it doesn't suggest similar products in the future).
Also, speaking of lube... Do you need lube for a rectal thermometer for the baby? If so, what do you use?

Miss Killjoy They don't trust us with dextromethorphan or pseudoephedrine (in terms of cold medicine at least). They do just have it on the shelves here too but a flag gets sent out for an override when it gets scanned. But apparently they're only worried about minors making meth because if you're over 18 you're in the clear. And there are plenty of self-checkouts, that's all I ever use at the grocery store. But unfortunately at this Target they don't have self-checkout. I was originally planning on just going to the grocery store for my lube and cold medicine run, but the grocery store nearest to me has all of the "family planning" items locked in a cabinet at the pharmacy, which was closed. That's why I asked the silly question, because I didn't know if there was also an override for those things. The state I live in is one that teaches "abstinence ed" instead of sex ed, so it wouldn't surprise me if there was some sort of regulation like that in place!

Any time I hear the phrase "business time," I think of the Flight of the Conchords song!
"You know when I'm done to just my socks it's time for business. That's why they're called business socks." LMAO

I wonder if it's different between states? Where I live they won't even put it on the counter, you have to purchase it directly from behind the pharmacy counter and sign a form for pseudo-e.

I know...We've been doing that. Just counting down to when we're cleared for penetration.

Do you not have any stores with self checkouts there? That's how I buy any of my "embarrassing" stuff. Not that I care much any more, but if I'm feeling extra self-conscious or something, I just go to the self-scan.
You use vaseline for rectal thermometers.
Ditto about self checkouts. The only pharmacy here doesn't have one (and actually only has 3 employees, small village.) so when we bought lube last week and went to the coffee shop the day after, a bunch of people were smiling at us and some even dared to say "Not going to make another baby yet uh guys?"
Sooo.. we went to the closest big city to buy our condoms since not everyone in the village needs to know DH's size o.o
My OB cleared sex anytime/however soon I felt like it, but with a condom so no sperm could get in to cause infection. I'm surprised to read so many of you ladies were told no penetration at all.

I never needed/bought lube til I was breastfeeding. DTD when my first son was 3 months, and even though I was in the mood it was terrible. Thanks, hormones. I buy everything on Amazon, lube included. No lube for rectal thermometer since it only goes in a tiny bit. If you had to give a rectal suppository then it's not a bad idea, "personal"and medical lube are pretty much the same thing.
It can differ between states. But also the ingredients is what either leaves it on the shelf but still need to be 18 to buy or puts it behind the pharmacy in which case you need to be 18 but can also only purchase a certain amount each month and the pharmacy keeps track of that. (I work at rite aid)
That is an insane amount of (presumably) paperwork/computer work and tracking. Wow. We don't even track Plan B here.
I was living in CA when this started, and the pharmacy employee explained they also track how much you buy . Like, if you buy two boxes at this pharmacy, a box at that one, three boxes at the next one, etc. Since you can't just stock up for your meth making at one store now, they flag you for a meth cooker by tracking how mush you buy at all the stores and can (supposedly) flag you that way. Not sure if they still do that in CA, and if it's true for other states as well.
Confession: I have a teeny crush on Miles' Osteopath. He is about my age, super smart, and so adorable.
I crushed hard on one of my OB's. Same scenario, same age, super cute and from my the area I lived most of my adult life. I was pretty happy he didn't deliver Emmett bc if he had it could have ruined our fake future relationship.

I have a huge crush on my doctor. He delivered Isla and now he is our family doctor. Pretty much have a dream about him before every appointment. He is older than I am but still young, cute, smart, funny, oh the list goes on..

FF(S)C: I feel so dumb. I literally just figured out the fucking diaper genie. I've wasted two refills and was seconds away from wasting another. This whole time I had been thinking, 270 diapers my ass, this thing only holds like 30. Why are the bags so long if the container can't even hold that many? So as i was pulling the bag out today, it dawned on me what the cutter on the inside was for and why the refills are so long. Dammit.

I have always just cut the bag with scissors... I'm going to have to find this cutter, though!
