Finally getting our windows installed today! DD and I escaped to the library for a bit, although I think she would have been perfectly happy talking the installers ear off all day.

Im going through my clothes and boxing them up in preparation for puting in a closet organization system until then I'll label the boxes so I can find my stuff again. We have to flea treat the house this weekend and treat the dog for the second time. Every time we take her to the inlaws this becomes a problem and sadly this times they seem more relisent. So annoying. But on the plus side I found a new flea treatment call Adams and its boss stuff the fleas where just falling off dead or dying when I sprayed her with it. We will never use anything else again. And she will be getting a flea collar next time she goes to grandmas.
Maybe food truck friday tonight and then probably watching the Opening Ceremony. Tomorrow we go on a boat for a friend's bday and someone is watching DS so DH and I can have 3-4ish hours of adulting. I am so excited about it. The only thing better would be if I could drink :/
Had my 36 week appointment today. They took blood, did a swab and did a fundal height/fetal heart beat check. Everything is still looking good We had the labor talk. Water breaking, contractions etc. My office wants you to call when contractions are 8-10 minutes apart. Things are starting to get real. We talked about positions to try to get my baby to move out of breech. She suggested downward dog 10-15 minutes a day and sitting with my legs spread while leaning forward.
Just finished my workout class and now about to take DS to the park for a little bit. I just got my new suv and I love it, it is so much easier than a car when you have kids.
Fil is coming for the weekend so I have to tidy up the house! Had an appt this morning and DS yelled ohh baby heart when they listened for the heart beat. He's starting to talk a lot and it's so cute!

I seriously can't believe we're getting to this point. So crazy!!

Right? I mean little dude could show up anytime now. Last night I was having a lot of BH and some light cramping (which went away). The pressure downstairs is intense. My waddle is pretty epic

wow you're so close!
Have we really only had one birth on S16 or only 1 on the thread?

My waddle is crazy as well! I just have to laugh at this point at how ridiculous I must look walking around 😂

I actually had a conversation with H that if there were to be a zombie apocalypse or some other disaster to just grab DS and leave me. I would seriously slow them down. Ah me and my dark humor.

bl1210 should have had her girls by now, but she hasn't been around in a bit. Hopefully spending lots of time on baby snuggles.

We've had really good luck with the flea prevention pill Trifexis. It actually has flea treatment, heartworm prevention and a dewormer. Little pill they take every month. There was a major flea outbreak among some of our dog park friends, of a particularly hardy variety apparently. Our dogs were down there almost every day and even over at someone's house who the next day figured out her dogs had fleas - not a single flea on either of them. I think it costs me about $20/pill, but I count it worth it since it has the heartworm protection anyway.
Might be worth it, if this happens every time you take her over there. Save

FX baby flips over for you soon. I spent the last two weeks trying to get ours to flip. I really think the time I spent in the pool every couple of days might have helped. Save

H has taken to offering to help me every time I have to get up or into a car or something. It's cute.
Of course, it only goes so far. Last night he was tired but wanted a snack and asked me to get out of bed and go get it for him. I just laughed and shook my head. I agreed to do it, but only because I had to pee anyway. Save

The thing is I've swam a lot this summer. Between DS's swim lessons and hitting the pool on the weekends I've lived in the water. I'm kind of worried this kid is too big to flip.

We heard great things about Trifexis also but our dog has a weak stomach and projectile vomited after taking it each time. So that didn't last long for us!

Oh no! Yea, I can't imagine that would be any fun to try and do each month, then. Ours seem to handle it well. Both threw it up once or twice when they were little, but I've found that if I make sure they eat their full meal and I give them the pill with a little peanut butter they do OK with it.
This reminds me, they were due for that pill on Wednesday. I better do that today. Save
Just finished my mid-year performance review with my new boss. Lots of good feedback, and we're discussing what my yearly review might mean in terms of moving up to a senior position or getting a good solid bump in pay. I'm still well below the middle of the pay scale for my position, and I've got the experience under my belt to get the Senior position.
I decided to celebrate by giving a giant middle finger to my GD and having a microwave burrito.

singingsea - From what I read it helps to bounce around while you're in the pool, not just swim normally. Could be worth adding to inverted positions to try to help him flip.

I'll look it up. My in-laws live in the city and sadly mice and rats are very common and so are fleas on top of that the cabin they go to all the time have them in abundance. So for a while it was a toss up as to weather she'd get them or not but lately it seems that everytime she goes this is an issue its like the fleas are getting stronger or something.

Good point. I swim laps, but I also did a lot of stretches and floating on my back, squats and such. Sort of a half-assed water aerobics kind of deal. At a minimum, it helps my back. Save
Yes trifexis is amazing...especially bc my dog would freak out everytime I put frontline on him. Frontline works really well also lovetruly2015 and only leaves residue for one day. We get trifexis from 1800petmeds.com and they always have coupon codes.
As for me....nothing exciting over here. Just lots of failed potty training attempts. Argh!!

I have given up on potty training for the time being. Daycare had her trained at the very end of the school year. But for me she would scream no and kick her potty when I told her to try, then pee on the floor next to it. I didn't have the energy. She's back at daycare in 2 weeks so I'll let them deal with it.

Hey, do you guys donate bras or just pitch them. I've jumped from a B to a C cup so all my bras are basically useless to me now and im not sure if I should try and give them away or not. Will donation places even take them?

I've donated mine before, if they're in good condition.
