I'm really disappointed with both candidates. I have no idea what I'm going to do. I will be closely watching the debates and the election, that's for sure.

I don't understand what kind of person thinks Trump would be a good idea. Although I hate this - I will probably vote Hilary just to keep the monster out.

House select committee found no wrongdoing on her part following Benghazi, right?
Flip flopping on gay marriage? I would say more like accepting and acknowledging the changing tide. Not awesome that she formerly opposed it, sure, but better to turn from wrong to right than the other way around.
I've shot guns. My father and husband own them. I'm still pro-increased gun control. Plenty of people are.
And I'm just giving my stance. Plus, you know, facts.
I'm with allycat about the whole "flip flopping" thing. So, she looked at the current social climate of our county and said, hey, I was wrong, and now supports things she didn't originally support. That's what a human being should do. Revisit and revise policies as necessary. Everyone wants the Church to adhere to marriage equality, but when a politician does it...they're somehow wrong? I don't get it.
Regarding Benghazi...as far as I understand, even the family of the victim here said they didn't fault HRC. No fault was found by a court. Same with the emails. LET IT GO.
I don't remember anyone making such a big deal about the GWB/Cheney email scandal, and it was way, way worse.

Serious question for those considering supporting trump.
How do you explain or justify his stance on the Muslim population within the US? About deporting them? Does that not sound familiar? Like is 75 years really long enough that we've forgotten?

Yikes I wasn't looking to get schooled lol again I asked where you all stood, wasn't looking to fight. Damn I knew better to than to bring up a hot topic lol

Well I don't think anyone was schooling you. I think everyone stated their stance and why. I had a genuine question. I think if you're prepared to vote for someone to be the leader of one of the most powerful countries in the world, you should be able to explain why you support questionable stances as well.

I think you are 100% right, however I wasn't looking to debate or to question anyone further because politics are hot. I guess I thought everyone would give a quick short answer lol I shouldn't have answered questions I suppose. This could go back and forth and I'm not looking to ruffle feathers or think I'm politically right, I was just innocently asking. I couldn't even debate if I wanted to, I'm not crazy into politics so I'm not educated enough in the matter to defend or agree on all matters.

It was an innocent quick question oops
I get that, and no hard feelings.
This just isn't an innocent issue. It can't be lighthearted because there is way too much at stake. People treating this election and candidates as "innocent questions" and "quick answers" are the reason we stand a very real chance of having an extremely dangerous person in the white house.
