cbrandt1 hopefully he stays put for a while! If it helps at all I'm still sick to my stomach a lot of mornings. Hopefully it's just normal pregnancy nastiness.
NJgirl84 I think I'm just in denial that our babies are possibly that close. I still feel like I have a long time but I guess I'm only 6 weeks away.
I'm usually constipated, but I hope that's what it is. I just called it quits on packing so I could sit and figure out if the contractions I'm having are real or BH.

pismoduo does he not want to have to worry about moving the crib when it comes time for your new house? A bassinet will totally work for a few months but you'll need something else when she starts sitting up around 6mos. Another pnp could work and when she's older/after you move you could leave one in your office as a play pen and keep one in your room as a play pen for when you take a shower and get ready. That's what I do with DS who's 21 mos. Just a thought.

I think that's part of it, but I think it's also just that he's not quite ready to acknowledge that this real little person is going to be here.
I'm OK with it, the more I think about it. If we just get a bassinet for now it'll make it easier to move it into our room if it ends up being easier to have her there, and we can transition her later to a full crib. Save
@pisnoduo this is a case of every baby is different. My kid transitioned to her crib perfectly. She slept well no matter where she was. It was easier for me for night feedings and everything else. You'll do whatever works obviously, but so you know, I have a story that counters that.
Oh I have no doubt about that. I just figure I'll start out with my "ideal" plan, and if it's not working, I'll adjust. The more I think about it, a small bassinet makes any adjustment we'd decide to do a little easier anyway, so I'll stop arguing with him on that point. Save
cbowl I love the Jessica Simpson ones (I got it at destination maternity). They have some lace on the top and a mesh, cupped shelf bra so you don't have a uni-boob. They also are scrunched on the side so you can wear them while pregnant.

*waves*
I just realized I haven't posted here in over a month. I think. My bad, guys. I've been trying (and failing) to Internet less in general and crochet more. I got the crocheting more part down. I'm going to try and read and catch up, but I hope you ladies are doing well, aside from being done with working and ready to have babies!
Ok you know how I thought I lost a little of my plug last week? I definitely definitely lost the rest of it and had a show this afternoon. Midwife thinks I have a week max. I'm so nervous and underprepared! I was really hoping to avoid the preemie thing again. I'm 35w2d so not crazy early but still arggggg I thought I had 5 weeks+
lpj hopefully she'll be wrong and you'll hang on a little longer! Are you still working?
fem yes fingers crossed! I'm feeling pretty crampy this morning but I don't think they're really contractions so we'll see! I was meant to finish up at work on the 30th but I'm not sure now if I'll go back in or not. I had a bit of a tidy up yesterday just in case!
