Here's a random for you. I can't get my toddler to sleep in his bed. He insists on sleeping on the floor! Every single night he ends up there. I tried moving him to his bed a few minutes ago and before I even got back to my bedroom he was back on the floor! I'm at a loss.

No expert or experience with that here but if my DS was doing that I would just let him sleep on the floor as long as it wasn't impacting his sleep. Maybe scoot a pillow under his head and cover him with a blanket. I would do like you each night and at least try to get him back in bed after he fell asleep, but if he goes back to the floor what do you do.

Sounds like my friend's tot! And insists on sleeping by the door. On the floor.

Let him sleep on the floor! We find DD in the strangest places. I don't care where she sleeps as long as she sleeps.
Thanks guys! I'm letting him be, I just hate that he's sleeping on the floor! It can't be that comfortable! But he does usually drag a pillow, blanket, and hid doggie down with him. Silly boy!
I just caught up on the randoms, I was off TCF all day. Seriously slow day! It usually takes me much longer to get through the randoms.
I had a great day. DH took the day off work and we went to the spa and got massages. Had a late lunch after. He surprised me with these plans yesterday and we arranged to drop off L at daycare for the day. It was her first time and it went well I think!
DH also told me to sleep in the guest room last night from 2:30 am onwards. L was really hard to put down and so he took over. I woke up once to check how it was going at 7 but mostly slept til 10! Between that, the spa and an evening nap I took after the spa from 8-10, I feel like a new woman. Major points for DH!
Uterine fibroids (removed by robotic myomectomy 11/14) and past removal of L ovary/tube d/t ovarian torsion (4/99). New diagnosis of endometriosis (5/15)
I just ordered my groceries online for pick up tomorrow. after work. You guys, this might be life altering. No shopping with kids OR DH!
I've been doing this since October and it's my favorite. Totally worth it. And now our grocery store DELIVERS your groceries if you want. Holllaaaaaaa
Ours delivers too but I wanted to try this first before going that route. I think I will love it, especially since I was able to add things to my cart while pumping. Talk about multitasking!

Kids have a whole different scale for comfort! I remember happily sleeping on the floor for years since it meant not having to make my bed in the mornings.

Kids and teens physiology actually lends itself to being in positions that seem like they should be uncomfortable in adult's opinions. One part of my YA studies class focused on space design and providing those weird seating/lying options for that exact reason based on various studies.
