I just got back from Crossfit and I'm really just relaxing today. Tomorrow we're going to lunch with friends, but it's gonna be pretty chill around here.

Oh man, that's tough. We are mostly on a 2 nap schedule, but if the afternoon nap is short, sometimes we have to squeeze in a late 3rd catnap to make it all the way to bedtime!
Ditto we've done that too. Today we got a great first nap and just an ok second but it was later so I'm stretching it best I can till bedtime and hope for a great night

Had a busy day yday - went to a 1yr old's bday party (C's bestie), then over to dh's aunt's house for a cookout. Dh and I are supposed to go to a baseball game today while the il's watch the littles. I'm not sure if that's going to happen though bc it's supposed to rain.

We also had a 1st birthday to go to yesterday but other than that we have just been working on some projects around the house and cleaning. I'm taking DD1 to the indoor trampoline park in a little while so that should be fun.

Yeah. Second nap is never guaranteed. Depends what's going on. It sucks!!!! I think she'll drop it really. I'm skurrred.

Ok I still can't believe I have a walking baby and she's going into her first double digit month soon! (She is 9no on the 26). Too soon she'll be a toddler. Where is my baby going?

Am I missing something about bath time in a big tub? Tonight was the first night that I removed the baby tub and just had the baby in the tub. I felt like I had to really hover over her to prevent her from slipping/hitting her head. She sat just fine...maybe I'm just paranoid? She was starting to climb out of baby tub, which is why I removed it

We bought a non slip mat for the tub. It's helped a lot!! Otherwise she slipped around quite a bit.

rachaeleigh an acquaintance from school had posted that she uses a large plastic bin (like one you might buy for storage) in the bath tub or a laundry basket in the tub once her kids get too big for the baby tub. I also use the Bumbo chair and take DD in the shower with me.

What kind of mat did you get? I tried one I got at Target with DD1 and the whole mat just slid with her so we got rid of it.

We got the Boon one! I posted a link in the Monday daily. It has suction cups on the bottom that you definitely have to press down but it stays well. I use it to hide the drain too, or her fingers go in the little holes.
