Little Mac got discharged from the Special Care Nursery and is now with me on the ward. His blood sugars and temps have been good and he's nursing like a champ so I'm hopeful we'll be home tomorrow
LadyNymeria A massage sounds so amazing right now...
@lovetruly I'm always so glad to hear how well your little guy is doing! And how well you are handling it too.
I just saw the pic you posted on the birth announcement. He's perfect! So cute!
DH and DS are both sick. Not sure what's wrong, but they both seem to have diarrhea. Of freaking course they do the week we are moving!
I'm so ready for Tuesday to be over so we can get settled in the new house. I have SOOOO Much to do to prepare for G. None of my newborn clothes have been washed and I still need to get my hospital bag packed. We did make it to ikea yesterday and I grabbed a cheap changing table for the 1st floor, can't beat $35! So I put that together today and felt like some progress has been made lol.
Tomorrow we close on our lot that sold a few weeks ago, then DH are probably going to eat alone for the last time in a long time. DS will be in preschool, so after the closing we are going to breakfast then coming back to the old house to pack the rest of it up.
annapunkalunka, try not to worry too much, baby doesn't have a ton of room to move like he used too. Also, the movement you do sort of rocks them to sleep. If I'm ever concerned, I drink some juice and lay down for a bit. Or poke him.
The weather was gorgeous today so we took DD to a minor league baseball came. Consensus - she is still too young for baseball. But at least it was princess and pirate day and she was very excited to see her favorite princess.
I'm sad the weekend is over. Just gotta get through the next two weeks and then my little one starts preschool. I can't believe what a big girl she has become. It's so amazing.

I over did it cleaning today and I've had a ton of BH. Is anyone really struggling with being very pregnant and taking care of older children? I'm so exhausted all the time. Even giving DS a bath is a challenge leaning over the tub. I'm so flipping thankful H is a super involved dad. He really has been stepping it up the last couple weeks and I'm very grateful.

Yes. So much. I can't remember the last time I gave C a bath. DH has stepped up to the plate, big time. He's a horrible housekeeper, though... So I'm still struggling through getting that stuff done on my own. I do ask him to at least do the floor clean up of the toys so I don't have to bend so much.

Yes I am. Today DD wanted me to play everything with her on the ground. The sidewalk chalk almost broke my back.
ETA: And for baths I usually supervise the play part then make DH come in and wash her.
Thanks everyone! He seems to be back to himself tonight as I chill on the couch, thankfully!!
Glad he kicked things up a notch. I've definitely had days where my guy has done the same - quiet enough during the day to start making me worry then moves so much while I'm on the couch that night that I wonder why I was starting to worry.

I don't give DD baths anymore. Haven't for a couple months. It was just too much so DH got the job. He also gets most of the putting her to bed duties since I'm the one that gets up MOTN if she wakes.
