I can't post a picture because my office gave me a CD and my laptop doesn't have a CD drive!! GAH!!
Anyway, not like you want to see my precious blob anyway! Baby measured 6w1d when I'm 6w4d but no concerns. Heartrate 120 which was on track for this age. I cried when I saw the little flicker on the screen. So happy.
And then they told me I have a subchorionic Hematoma. Which is basically a blood clot between the gestational sac and the uterus. She said mine is extremely small and most likely caused by implementation bleeding and not to worry about it. That it will either fall off and I'll have some light spotting, or that the body will reabsorb. But I have to have another u/s at 12 weeks to monitor it. She didn't make it seem like a big deal, but of course I googled it and I'm a little concerned.

Yay for a (mostly) great appointment financialdiva. Sorry for the slight hiccup. At least you guys know it's there and your doctor assured you not to worry. The scary Google stuff might be for more severe ones?

financialdiva I had SCHs with DD. By the time they found them, there were 2 when I was 10 weeks and they were grape and dime size, but I'm fairly certain that I had a third which I passed at 8 weeks about golf ball size when I assumed I miscarried. I ended up passing all the SCHs and it was more than light spotting- more like a heavy period with a clot- but everything with DD was totally and 100% fine. My doc told me SCH is nothing to worry about unless it gets tennis ball size which it sounds like yours are much, much smaller. I hope this helps a little!

I had a SCH too, try not to google the horror stories. Hopefully it'll all be absorbed and you won't have too much drama with it.

Hi Ladies - can I join? Just had my second ultrasound, and I'm finally feeling more comfortable that this pregnancy may be the one that ends with a take home baby. Two beautiful babies, with nice strong heartbeats! My due date is technically 4/9, although I suspect the OB may move that up once I see her - I was just released by my RE.

1st appointment today at 5w4d for blood work only. Beta was 10,600! 😳 I'm going in Tuesday for more blood work and an ultrasound. Terrified I'll be joining the twins club.

First Appt Today.
One perfect little squish. Measuring at 8+2 with a HR 176
Kind of annoyed with how the appt went. They're off on my EDD. They're trying to go by LMP even though they just did a dating US. Like not everyone has perfect menstrual cycles people. It's a difference of at least a week which I'm not cool with. At. All. So I have to talk to my OB about that at the 12 week appt. And everything about today took forever.
That's so weird ourcrazynavylife. I've heard of them being reluctant to change for less than a week, but more than a week is crazy! Are you getting a scan around 12 weeks? I know my provider considers that the final say on edd since they use a much better machine in the the perinatology department rather than the office machine.
iqeb I don't think there's a scan at the 12 week appt. But I have my charts from TTC. So hopefully she'll listen better than the people I saw today.
I just can't with the sanctity with which doctors tend to regard lmp.
I know some people (myself included with DS) changed the provided LMP date to line up with their charts for this exact reason. Luckily, my OB was cool and I didn't need to actually do that since he went by the charges O date and confirmed at my A/S (my genetic screening did not involve a scan)
My US went well yesterday! One baby, measuring a little over a week behind what we thought. But that's not a concern since I got pregnant on my first circle after bf'ing for a year. Heartbeat was good at 158. New due date of April 27th.

We had our confirmation/dating ultrasound today. Baby is 9w1d with an EDD of 4/13 and a strong heartbeat (178)!!! I'm feeling particularly good because I was right on the money about ovulating two weeks late.
First app was yesterday, scan tomorrow at 9am. I'm being referred to a MFM my MWs work closely with to develop a plan of action for this pregnancy and after delivery. They were glad I've been on folate and baby aspirin for a few months prior to conception and are hopeful all will be well at the scan tomorrow. They did say that my treatment this time around may include heparin/lovenox injections prior to delivery as well as for 3 weeks past. They'll continue my care and will follow whatever the MFM says to do for the remainder of pregnancy. I'll also see the MFM for all genetic screenings and will most likely have the Mat21 test done as well. The MFM is actually from Boston MFM and comes out 1-2 days a week to work with the MW groups in the area. Hopefully things will go well tomorrow and it'll be smooth sailing.
I has a single blob with a heartbeat of 174! Measured 7w2d instead of 7w5d but they're not concerned since all babies grow differently. EDD will stay April 30th
