We just sat next to a car at a light that had printed "Trump for president" signs duct taped to every single window. Isn't that what bumper stickers are for? And every window??
Buuuut you certainly noticed, and now you're talking about it, sooo... Mission accomplished?

I guess so. Though I'm not sure it's going to convince anyone to vote for him who isn't already doing so. I don't feel like there are very many people who are having trouble deciding between the two major party choices this time. The whole election is very polarized.

Agreed. I'm actually fairly certain no bumper sticker has ever convinced anyone of anything, ever. I do feel bad for you being surrounded by that shit. The whole thing still blows my mind.
queenb I feel like in terms of numbers, there are less bumper stickers and yard signs for Trump than there were for Romney, McCain and especially GW Bush. But the Trump supporters are so passionate and loud about him that you can't really tell that there are less than there were for former GOP candidates. The fact that they exist in any significant number though is crazy to me.

I dunno. In my world many people hate both hill and trump. I don't think he stands a chance of winning (electoral college makes this impossible), but Gary Johnson is certainly getting a lot of attention and will pull votes in November.
2dumbdogs yeah same, I know a lot of people who want neither. And I do think Johnson will get votes. Not nearly enough though. I just meant that no one is really thinking about whether they like HRC or DT better. They either hate her/love him, love her/hate him, or hate both.
aydee chiming in here, schools provide special ed services all summer, there's no such thing as "no time left" for an evaluation. We do them all the time in the summer. Glad they're picking up the ball but you'd be we'll within your rights to request reimbursement for the eval and services you had, esp. If you met and they said he needed an eval.
Thanks for the feedback on this. It's helpful to hear from someone who's in a school system. It was weird last April- I met with the special ed coordinator and the speech therapist. After talking with me and listening to his speech, the speech therapist turns to the coordinator and goes, so...... are we still thinking we need to wait until august to evaluate? There were 3-4 weeks left in the school year at that point and Isaac's stutter was pretty bad and had been going on for over a year. Maybe I could have pushed it but I didn't want to start off on a bad foot with them. Also, I thought they legally need 60 calendar days to complete the eval. There was a lot less time than that left and these two ladies don't work over the summer.
It's hard to know how much to push when it comes to getting services. I don't want to become "that" parent from the get go!
