DD3 has gone between gas wake ups, screaming spit up wake ups, and hunger.
How long before I call the pedi to beg for help? They usually don't have answers. She is so, so miserable. Just 2 days ago she was fairly chill.
I have found pedis to be of little help with allergies, intolerances and reflux. Unless you want to ask for Zantac.
I don't, really, even though I think it somewhat helped DD2 (as did the Prevacid we stepped up to because our pediatrician was shocked at how often she woke up at night).
Is there anyone you have found to be helpful? My experience is that we don't deal with allergies in our house, so it's always been kind of a mystery.

We are blessed to have stumbled upon one of the finest allergy and asthma doctors in the country and he happens to practice 15 minutes from our house. He agrees with me that most pedis/GP's are not well informed about these things bc they are highly specialized and constantly changing

We went to buybuybaby and babies r us today. When I was at buybuybaby I bought a wipe warmer for downstairs. Just picked up the $20 one on the end cap and bought it. Got home, no plug?! Looked for the battery compartment- none. Then I realized I got a dispenser not a warmer. Faaaaaaaail.
But then we went to babies r us and I bought the Britax B Ready
Didn't read yet, but the whole family is sick. I have the nose Frida and a bulb strings. Dd4 nose is just so small. Any other ideas to get snot out ?? 'm using saline and a humidifier. I put her in steamy shower with me and she still is gurgling and snorting. I feel like a newb but nothing is working like it has in the past!!

During pregnancy I was obsessed with making sure that the family visiting all had their Tdap updated. Now that baby is here, I'm unclear about who really needs it. Family friends are stopping through my city and want to come say hi for a few hours - DH wants to ask if they had Tdap recently. Is that reasonable? Or is it just for close caregivers?

I would only ask close care givers. Ask anyone sick to obviously not come by. But your average healthy unupdated person is fine.
Hugs at venyia and joy and everyone else over due or close to! I'll be 40 weeks on Monday and I'm getting very impatient. It doesn't help that I receive daily texts from family asking if anything is happening. Plus, DD is with my ILs till baby comes and I miss her! I have an appt tmrw and if I haven't made any progress then I'm sure I will cry! I plan to have them to a membrane sweep tmrw because I'm so done.
kokopelli you tried all my tricks. So sorry. Did you find a solution?
No. She is still congested, sneezing and coughing. My bff is a nurse practitioner and she said just let her be as long as she is breathing alright on her own. It was a long night of her snorting and gurgling.
