steph @suesposa I'm also off dairy and it sucks I want pizza so badly! But I'm pretty convinced it makes a difference. Suesposa I mean if you've tried all those sometimes you have to just let it be and wait it out. I don't think you're always going to find a solution unfortunately. But who knows good luck trying the windi
Just got back from the pediatrician. Both babies are growing great. M grew almost a pound in a week!
In the hospital we agreed not just to the normal newborn genetic screen (PKU etc) but also some additional tests that they are trying to get added to the list. It turns out G tested positive for one of those. Our pediatrician didn't tell us which one because she says there are a lot of false positives and she doesn't want me googling before we retest. It will take 1-2 weeks to get results and I am trying not to freak out but of course I am really nervous. And it took them 3 heel sticks to get the blood and she was SCREAMING the whole time.
Fx that it's a false positive. We had this with LO too. Her TSH levels were "above normal" at the hospital and a week later. They were within range at her two week check. Hugs. It was so stressful. Ask for a sugar water if she needs another stick?
gratefulgirl I haven't even thought about soy. Thankfully (but unfortunately) dairy seems to make a difference for us. I'm not surprised at all though. It's the family curse.
The things we do for our littles.
*sigh*
My pedi said 50% of babies who have a dairy issue also have a soy issue, so might as well go them together.
