So I'm going back to work Tuesday. My question is do you use milk pumped over the weekend for your first day of work during the week or use frozen and freeze what you pump over the weekend? These little logistics are consuming my thoughts.
Either works. I'll probably use frozen as I try not to pump on weekends. I do need to make sure DS likes frozen though. If I pumped on the weekend I'd use fresh.
I SAH now, but with my first, I used frozen. Starting with the oldest and would freeze what I was pumping to replace it. That way nothing went bad and couldn't be used.

I used frozen for the first 2 days but I've been using fresh since then, because it stays good a little longer. I only freeze what I'm able to pump that I don't think he'll drink in the next 48 hours or so. I'll delve into the frozen supply if I have a day when I'm not able to pump enough or if I'm worried about it getting too old. I don't pump on weekends. Blech. I hate pumping and look forward to the weekends when I don't have to!

I've been using frozen on Mondays to rotate my freezer stash that way I won't end up having any of the freezer stuff go bad. I use fresh the rest of the days and freeze my Fri pumps. I do usually send one extra bottle to daycare just in case she's super hungry and use fresh milk for that but label it "use last."

That's what I decided to do. I pumped a bunch on Thursday. I have DS a bottle of frozen today just to make sure he was ok with it, which he was.
