Regarding the whole mucus plug thing... I know I hear a lot that it will have some blood in it, but does it have to? Three or four times over the last week I've had huge, I mean HUGE, globs of mucus when wiping. Not blood or even spotting of any kind, but it is usually preceded by a little bit of cramping for a bit.
I've read that the mucus can come in a variety of colors. Honestly without going into too much detail mine really hasn't had a lot of blood.

MP and bloody show are diff as PP said. I googled all of this last week when I thought I lost a bit of mine. My google results also said hours or weeks... How helpful
Woke up MOTN nauseous. Didn't get sick but was able to fall back asleep after DH got me a cereal bar. Still feel "off" today. I went to the pharmacy to use the BP cuff and 2 of 3 of my readings were normal. I think I'm going to just try and take it easy today and ask my OB at my appt tomorrow morning.
Nothing like the last few weeks of pregnancy to bring all of your uncertainties out!

I don't think it has to, I'm pretty sure I lost mine already (midwife seemed to agree) and that's pretty much what my experience was like.
That was a few weeks ago, and here I am, still pregnant, so I guess not a sign of imminent labor in my case.

Right now DH is going through his stuff in the nursery hopefully we can get more cleaned out today. Im providing moral support and that's itm I was hoping for a beach day but I feel bad leaving him to do it on his own.

You should still try to get some beach time in! If he's going through his own stuff you should go relax on the beach! Then you could tag team some cleaning up later.
I had quite a bit of that after my last internal. Have you had one recently?
I did on Thursday. Then Friday night I started losing my plug.
I had an internal on Monday and had a ton of brownish spotting all through Monday and Tuesday. Then Wednesday I lost more of my mucus plug, but the spotting stopped. Might be a combo of the internal irritating your cervix and losing the plug.
Thanks ladies. At this point I'm pretty sure that my mucus plug is gone, but not counting on labor starting any time soon. But it's nice to see at least some progress happening at this stage. And now that we're home from our mini vacation I'm not as anxious about something happening.
The dogs are so exhausted from their weekend of insanity that they didn't make a sound the whole 5 hour drive home. Now we're all crashed out on the bed watching crappy TV.

I think I've decided what I've been feeling the past couple days must actually be early contractions. I wasn't sure but now that they've kept up a couple days that has to be what they are. Short and definitely no regularity so I don't think they mean much, but it has to be what I'm feeling.
Best conversation today at the grocery store: Woman: So when are you due? Me: About two weeks Woman: Really? You're so low! Are you sure?!
Look lady, as much as I'd love to discuss my BBT, cervical mucus levels, and the number of times my husband and I had sex about 9 months ago, can you just take my word that I know when my baby is due?
SIL came over yesterday and DH was off work early so he kept DS1 busy while she helped me in the boys' room. We rearranged it, organized baby clothes and put the newborn/0-3mos clothes away. I'm starting to feel better about things. We're going to Costco today to get a tv for our room. Hopefully we'll have time for ikea so we can gat bookshelves for their room.

It was serendipity731, we had a great time! Some people I would have loved to have been there couldn't make it because of the reschedule but it was lots of fun. My grandfather, who was married to the nana I just lost, even made it. It was wonderful seeing him up for an outing.
Ended the night sitting around a fire which is one of my favorite things to do in the summer. Super tired today, but it was worth it. Now baby boy can come whenever he wants!
Our first outing as a family of 4 was to church today. We were only 10 minutes late and we made it through the whole service. Win! It was nice getting out and being around people.

Thanks, everyone!! I was hoping it would happen soon, I lucked out! DH just headed home so it's just me and E now. I'm a touch nervous about handling things just because I still am reallllly slow to get up and move around.
I'm super uncomfortable. I keep having this feeling all day that I'm never going to have this baby and will be pregnant forever. Lol. Obviously that's ridiculous. I'm like 37.5 weeks so I still have a little time. I'm just sick of the constant back pain, heart burn, and inability to sleep I think. Oh well I'm just complaining. It is nice to read about the babies being born though. It reminds me it's almost over. I never have liked being pregnant. I much prefer the babies on the outside.

The contractions seem to have died down after some more water and a walk so I don't think anything too exciting will be happening here tonight but my stomach has been in a pissy mood all day so that + the fact that I was even having contractions makes me feel like something is up.
