High: Watching my daughter play with my parents. She had not seen them in a few months, and she definitely remembered them. She was laughing so much, it was so wonderful. (They live across the country, so we only see them a few times a year). At one point she grabbed my mom's hand to run around the room with her, and my mom is not a kid person at all.
High: I came home from work and DS looked at me for a second or two, and then got a huge smile on his face! I swear he was reaching for me as well...might have been my imagination, but I choose to believe he was
Low: DD had to get a x-ray for tummy troubles. We had to give her an at-home enema. It was a terrible ordeal for all involved, let me tell you.
High: We got new baby chicks this week and H is loving them. We have been getting so many outdoor projects done and it feels good.
Low: Anxiety. Most days I feel like I am drowning. DH has been getting up at 5am with M almost every day. Last night I wanted to let him sleep, so I was up with M from 3:30am-7 then got a 1 hour nap. I'm exhausted.
High: I went running this morning, for the first time in weeks. It's the best thing I can do for myself to help manage my mood.
Low: I think my baby has Milk Soy Protein Intolerance (MSPI). He's on Similac Alimentum formula right now, and his spit up and constipation have improved, but I'm so worried about a lifetime of food issues for him (I'm a vegetarian who can't tolerance dairy well, and my mother is allergic to wheat. Food allergies/intolerances SUCK).
