No clue what we're doing this weekend. My MW is coming this am to check on my BP. Then I think we're going to one of my H's friends cottage for the afternoon.
Am I the only one who feels like this baby is just gonna fall out when I go to the bathroom? He's so low...

DH came home from work last night and went straight to bed, he caught whatever stomach bug DD had earlier in the week. So that's an interesting way to start the holiday weekend.
Today is our DD's 8th birthday! I'm planning to make her a special breakfast and then she can choose something fun to do later.
I need to do errands, laundry, and clean up my house after having guests this week, so I'm really thankful for the extra day off.
We're going to go look at some closet doors. Then hopefully H will build a bulkhead in the closet in DS's big boy room so they can be installed. Then a family birthday party for one of H's cousins this afternoon.
Still no baby. He must be pretty comfy in there. Hopefully he makes an appearance sometime this weekend.
Last night we went over to my parents for a cookout. Today OSU plays at noon so we'll probably watch that and tomorrow I'm taking DS to a birthday party.
I love that one! I still remember the wonderful nurse who was with me through DS1's whole L&D. She was so calming, reassuring, and encouraging. TMI - when I pooped on the table she whisked the mess away/cleaned it up so discreetly that I wouldn't even have realized it happened if DH hadn't told me later. She did all the real work helping me labor and push, the doctor just came in for like 10 minutes to catch the baby at delivery time. I know it's very unlikely that this nurse both still works at my hospital and would be on duty when I go in this time, but it would be amazing if she was. I need you, Nurse Paige!!
merryrissmas I'm so jealous of your nurse experience. With DS my nurse was awful. I should have asked for someone else but didn't. I'm hoping for a much better experience this time. We are at a different OB and hospital.
We have had some pretty great nurses again. Some of the doctors have been.... Interesting... I told my husband we have to have a talk with some of our friends who are doctors about being nicer to their nurses!
Currently laying in bed trying to go back to sleep. I think I'm coming down with a cold.
Yesterday I finally broke down and took a 3.5 hour nap late in the afternoon. Then H and I went out for sushi and finally picked paint for the office and Katie's room. MIL is coming back today and will probably spend this whole weekend nagging H about stuff getting taken apart and moved so she can paint.
At least now that she's back she can stop texting me every damn day asking me how I feel and if I have any signs of labor. Never should have let H tell that woman I was 3cm. Now she's convinced this baby is about to fall out me. And she tells me the story of how her water broke with H like a twice a day.
My results came back normal on my 24 hour urine catch, so that's helped settle my anxiety down a bit, thankfully. I think I probably was just dehydrated earlier this week.
Yay for normal results pismoduo! Definitely sounds like it was a bit of dehydration now.
Finishing my coffee then heading to go pick up my glider! We'll be able to finish up the last bit of nursery set-up now this weekend. Need to stop at the grocery store quick to pick up a steak for our pup - it's his birthday!!!

My nurses during labor were great too! It was like they each had right personality when I needed it the most.
During the night when I was so nervous I had sweet, comforting nurse. When it was time to get things really moving I needed someone to give it to me straight and no bullshit. Guess I lucked out.
However, the lactation nurses during my stay can screw off.
We are going to the Earth Museum today. I think DH is most excited because he gets to see a T-Rex skeleton lol. I'm gonna have to aw a few pics! We got a few of our newborn proofs back. I love them! I will probably remove them later. Edit for photo poof

Sorry about the yucky nurse experience I hope you have a super sweet nurse this time! If it makes you feel any better, while laboring with DD, my nurse was...not very good. I was on a birth ball and started feeling a ton of pressure downwards and said "something's coming!" Nurse said "is it the baby?!?" Like, how the F would I know, lady, it was my first time in labor. Then 5 seconds later my water broke all over her shoes, which were crocs (the kind with holes on top that nurses used to be able to wear). Oopsies!
Good morning y'all. H is playing golf this AM so it's me and the toddler solo once again. I have completely run out of ideas to entertain her at this point. We are watching Cinderella for the 9 millionth time. It's nice out but I'm just to uncomfortable to play outside.
On a side note, I think we are getting a new car! Both of our cars are sooooo old and they are basically breaking down so it's time. Anyone have a cross over / SUV that they love?
annapunkalunka I've heard really good things about the highlander - and it's 3 rows right?
Yes! The 3rd row folds down to give you more space (ours is folded down 99% of the time). I will say, if DH and I ever decide to have a 3rd kid, we'd probably need something with the 3rd row more accessible for car seats. It's really nice to have the option to cart 8 people around!
