Congratulations kerbear! And welcome little person!
cassey910 hey, it's my birthday too! Happy birthday, birthday buddy!
My son kept saying on my due date (the 8th) "baby be here 2 days!" So now I'm kind of hoping I go into labor so I can announce that she was born "as the prophecy foretold."

Guys, I need an idea for something I can do solo with my toddler. I don't want to leave E, since I'm nursing, but C needs some momma attention in a bad way. I want to do something special with her and I'll leave DH in charge of E. Ideas?

Maybe just some time together at the park and lunch?

Nursing here too so I know it's tough. All R wants to do is sit on my lap to watch a show with me not holding any babies. We also did a quick trip to the park and grocery shopping/Costco the other day too while DH stayed with the twins.
pismoduo are you getting excited - it's tomorrow right? Do you go in the morning or evening?
Tomorrow evening. We'll check in around 7pm, they'll give me my antibiotics first (yay for GSB+) and then I assume they won't bother with the pitocin until that 4 hour mark for the antibiotics.
Getting kind of anxious and emotional. Mostly just stressed out, because the house is still a wreck and I have a bunch of stuff to do, but I'm so damn tired from being up every couple of hours to let the dog out overnight that all I can manage right now is sitting in the recliner playing on my phone.
Oh, and apparently, my stupid dog's stomach issues are because she has stressed herself out too much. I'm sure having H and I gone for a few days followed by a new baby in the house will totally help her situation. *sigh* Hopefully the k-pectin the vet gave us yesterday will help.
Exciting kerbear!! Good luck! Today is my birthday! We have a friend that's a nanny coming over to watch the kids so we can go on a date. I'm a little nervous to leave E but she mainly just eats and sleeps right now.

I've kept it simple and we will go outside together to play together while DH has E. I've also tried to take some bedtimes still - that's for me too though since I miss cuddling with my big baby!
annapunkalunka I stocked up on puzzles and toddler games for DS and I to do together after baby gets here in an attempt to make sure he gets special mama time. Maybe just try doing something like that while your DH hangs out with the baby.
I was about to post about how the first week of September all was quiet on the baby front. Hopefully today is the beginning of a big baby boom.
Not from me though. Contractions are gone. Getting sent home from the hospital yesterday was a big blow. It sounds stupid, but I feel like there's a big party going on over there and I'm not cool enough to attend. Everyone's over there whispering, "Ha, not dilated enough. You don't belong here."
pismoduo sorry about your dog. Ours is really anxious and he trembled and threw up when we brought DD home. It took some time but he definitely adjusted!

The k-pectin is starting to work. She's gone at least 4 hours without an incident.
We just took a trip to a Japanese restaurant and Costco (it's an hour away). We got DD's three major food groups - cereal bars, clementines, and Mac and cheese. Also salmon burgers and veggie burgers for my Mom staying with us. (She loosely follows the cancer diet and doesn't eat meat or soy, and limits dairy). Baby can come anytime now!
Got the pack n play set up and put up most of the decals in her room. Turns out the big comfy recliner won't fit through the door. MIL has a wooden rocking chair though, so we'll use that for now. Pics in a little while, when o get the last of her stuff put away. We're heading out to go find us a dresser.
So, we didn't get a dresser. This town is terrible for furniture. I'm going to check on a few consignment shops tomorrow, but we'll probably end up getting something online.
Decals are up, though!
There are more, but I was waiting for us to get the chair and stuff in.
Lost my plug tonight, and now my doula has me doing the Miles Circuit to try and get things moving. www.milescircuit.com/the-circuit.html I'm on step 2 and think I'll just sleep this way and finish the third step tomorrow 😜
